The welcoming was above expectations. They absolutely know what they are doing Big care for details and comfort for the guests. Our room had a terrace on two levels and the room was bright . Pleasant amenities and coffee was high quality We were even gifted with some presents for Christmas . We travel very often and we rarely encounter such a good service . Definitely recommended . It is literally in front of to castle and the entrance of the cave . Thank you !! We had an amazing stay Giulio and Olesia

Breakfast was amazing , brought to our room. Too much to get through. Location was 2 mins from main hub, parking for motor bike was just outside property. The owners went out of their way to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 10 out of 10

The stairs to the top floor are very steep; although not an issue for us it may be for some.

The hosts were exceptional! Communication was easy! We were there for the Christmas Market. The location was perfect! The hosts had thought of EVERYTHING to put in the room, including some "bubbly" and some cute presents for us to unwrap! It could not have been more perfect!!

The top bedroom has a winding staircase which may be difficult for some people. It was no problem for us though.

The owners are a lovely couple who take great pride in managing this themselves. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The location is great for walking into the centre. If we visit Valkenburg again, this will be the first place I would try to book.

Really nice hosts, very nice rooms. They waited us with rose and refreshment and when we left they baked cookies for us. Any questions we had they were really helpful. Very close to city center, great hiking opportunities around.

Not much of a problem, but since the two rooms in the last floor are not directly connected, it's a little annoying having to cross the small space that connects to the stairs each time you have to use the bathroom. Also not that important, but having normal doorknobs instead of the big key ones for the bedrooms could make it easier/more practical to handle them.

The hosts are very kind; the location is really close to the center and both the velvet cave and the castle ruins; you get a nice welcome basket with wine and snacks, plus multiple free drinks inside the minibar; the bathroom is huge and well illuminated; the TV comes with multiple channels and applications like Netflix and YouTube, and the internet is pretty decent most of the time (there was a moment when YouTube wouldn't load the videos, but it was brief).

Amazing room with a comfortable bed, jacuzzi tub, and a beautiful view of the castle ruins. The owners were very friendly and hospitable, which made our stay even more enjoyable :) Definitely recommended!!

We were in the double-deluxe room at the top of the house, up a couple of steep staircases. It has a double and a twin room separated by a small landing. What is not clear from the description on the website is that the bathroom is off the twin room, so you need to enter the twin room to get to the bathroom. This is not convenient during the night. Although the bathroom is v modern, the bathroom door is a plastic concertina-type door, so perhaps not as private as some might like. There is not a separate lockable door to this 2-bedroom unit. You need to lock the door to each room separately, using a key from the inside, but we were given only one key and it did not feel safe to lock my nephew into his room overnight from the outside before using the key to lock my own door from the inside. By the time we realised this issue it was too late to ask for another key, but it seems strange not to automatically provide the means of making both the rooms secure overnight.

The 'double-deluxe' unit was very spacious and had a very modern large bathroom. Good value for money for 2 rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
