Agnes and Sander were absolutely incredible hosts. They remind me of the very reason Airbnb started, and was a huge success - localising travel and stay and making it feel like a home away from home. Their place is a no brainer for anybody looking to explore Amsterdam. We loved coming back to their place, and it felt like such an amazing base for our holiday. Thank you so much guys!

Agnes was a wonderful host and very inviting - greeting us upon arrival and giving us a tour of the apartment. The location was very walkable and close to several amenities including restaurants, bars, stores, and more. The space was clean and very comfortable. The bedrooms are located on a basement level, so it was quiet and cozy for sleeping and relaxing. There were local snacks, in addition to beverages in the fridge which was a lovely and hospitable touch. Highly recommend!

It was a classy place and still managed to feel homely and comfortably! VERY well appointed. Location perfect - Kathy was a gem and a perfect host and very helpful. Early entry and flexible on departure and luggage storage. Lots of nice touches - coffee machine - frother etc.etc Very well decorated and finished.

I have traveled to Amsterdam a few times and this has been the best apartment, location + quality, we have stayed at. Kathy was a great host. She met us on arrival, had great communications over whatsapp, allowed an early check in, stocked a few beverages in the fridge, arranged an early morning taxi service for Schiphol airport, and followed up with us regarding a left item. The apartment is very modern and clean. Bedrooms were located downstairs and were incredibly quiet. Very comfortable beds. Super chean bathroom/showers. The apartment location is walking distance to Van Gough museum. At the far end of the street was a local square with bustling restaurants and bars. The apartment is located at the other quieter end of the street near a canal. Would definitely rebook on my next visit to Amsterdam.

I rented this apartment for my husband, his mother, and our son to stay in whilst visiting Amsterdam. They were all very impressed with apartment and said it was beautifully renovated/decorated. Communication with the host was excellent. Despite arriving on a Sunday evening, Kathy was there to greet them and show them around the apartment, which was much appreciated. The location is unmatched. It was an easy taxi ride from Schiphol when they first arrived in the Netherlands. Once settled they walked to the museums and around the canals. On their final day, they were able to leave their luggage in the apartment until they were due to leave the city. Departing for The Hague was super easy by catching a tram up to Amsterdam Centraal. The apartment is on 2 levels, and it does have a typical Dutch tight staircase but my mother in law who is 85 managed fine - note: there is a bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms, which is good. This was a stunning apartment and perfect for a multi-generational group. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Kathy and family!

The apartment as a whole could not have been better. It is the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam and I highly recommend it. The host greeted us when we arrived walked us through a few things quickly and we could not have been happier about the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home. The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend and you'll feel as if you are a local in Amsterdam. I'd give it more than 10 starts if I could!

None of us found any negatives at all!

Excellent communication with our host began before our stay and continued. We were able to drop our bags several hours before check in which allowed us to make the most of the day. Sander met us when we dropped our luggage and explained everything about the property as well as confirming the details for access when we got back. The property has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, everything is quality and luxurious comfort throughout. The location is fantastic and we are already looking forward to another stay!

It’s been 10 years since we lived in Amsterdam, and this apartment definitely welcomed us back along with our exceptional host, Kathy. It’s located off Leidseplein, which can be a busy area. However, it is far enough removed that it feels quiet and away from the main square. The apartment was very well appointed. We had coffee, beer, wine and a filtered water dispenser included upon arrival. Additionally, the apartment was very, very clean and updated with all the best technology. Both of the bedrooms in the basement were identical with plenty of closet space and enough room for a family - 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom has a rain shower that was fantastic. The next time we travel back to Amsterdam, we will definitely be booking this apartment.

Our stay at Leidse Square last week was wonderful. A beautiful and tastefully appointed apartment in the best location. Kathy was extremely pleasant and helpful during our stay.The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Lovely toiletries. All in all, an excellent experience!

It is nitpicking but the stairs downstairs are very steep, especially when staying with young children but I know that is a feature of living in Amsterdam. It’s manageable to be safe and there is a suitable child guard to protect the children from falling down the stairs.

I really liked the apartment’s location, being so near Leidseplein and means of public transportation. The friendly welcome and constant hospitality and support was also greatly appreciated
