The Lockbox was hard to open! But otherwise great

This Bnb is the most charming stay I’ve ever had. Beautiful and very convenient location to the canals, 9 streets and Anne Frank house. I only spent a day there but feel that i will be back for sure! Very comfy bed and great water pressure.

The stairs would be a challenge with anyone with a mobility problem, but they also add to the authentic character of the property and are to be expected.

The host and her helper are warm and kind, providing an amazing breakfast. The property is spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The tram stop is at the end of the street.

The bed was a little bit soft for us and it was a little bit noisy, especially on Saturday, but that can’t be controlled by the host. It’s just where the location is at.

The host was extremely helpful and polite. She went out of her way to accommodate us. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to have a great view of the canal and being in a great location.

We chose Keisershouse partly because of its central location and proximity to the places we wanted to visit. We also chose it because of great reviews online which are well deserved. There are lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. The guest room was large and the bed was super comfortable.

As in many Amsterdam properties, the stairs can be a little difficult to manoeuvre, especially with bulky luggage.

Location is perfect. The room is very comfy, with great canal views. The host is very attentive and provides a delicious and plentiful breakfast.

We didn’t realize it was the weekend of Kings day so it was terribly busy

The breakfast was fantastic ! Fatima was absolutely wonderful ! Natalia was such a sweetheart and had great advice on taxis! We unknowingly traveled there the weekend of King’s day and it was crazy busy! Would highly recommend and hope to return !

I was not expecting the narrow, steep staircases to the upper floors. We managed it, but with great care. I'm guessing that a lot of 70-year-old visitors would not deal well with the access.

Our host was excellent. She was engaging, interesting, and helpful. I could not ask for a better location. It is on one of the main canals, close to the tram tracks, within walking distance to the Ann Frank House, the Rijksmuseum, the Flower Market, and other attractions. Our rooms faced the canal and gave us a great view of the activity on and around the canal. It was a great experience.

Location and great view of canal. Staff and owner were attentive and breakfast was delicious. The fresh breads, jams and meats to mention a few were great. The stairs were a bit small and steep if you have issues with stairs. Unfortunately, no reflection on the owner, the town is “beautifying the area and adding underground lines, so passage from our place to sidewalk was challenging at times. Thank you for the overall experience. We had a great time.

Due to possible reasons such as the inability to renovate the building, the room has poor sound insulation. You can clearly hear the sounds of people and traffic outside, which sometimes disturbs sleep in the middle of the night.

It’s very close to the main attractions, and you can reach many of them or restaurants within a 20-minute walk.The breakfast was very plentiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub.

Both Nataliya and Fatima were very welcoming and made us feel at home, their beautiful smiles were an added bonus on staying in a beautiful house with amazing views over the canals in a lovely part of Amsterdam within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the city sights.
