Rooms - extremely dusty. If you are a light sleeper, it is good to know that this is an old wooden building, so you could hear people walking and talking everywhere.

Breakfast - rich, a lot of variety. Beds - nice and supportive, medium hard. Bathroom - clean. Nicely located in the city centre.

The room was icecold when we arrived. Heating was turned off, but we could switch it on. No heating at all in the bathroom. A bit strange also, we reach out to the hotel when booking in english, but receive the reply in dutch.

There were only two plugs in the whole accomodation, one in the bathroom and one in the room self. Nothing by the bedside. To turn off the TV, you had to get out of bed(half asleep). And the bed mattress was a bit too soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference

This room was a single so I'm not sure if this applies to all rooms, but the shower and toilet are not separated and this meant water getting all over the area around the toilet. The room was a bit on the cool side and I could hear other guests in the hotel quite easily. I still enjoyed my stay and would come back so these are minor concerns.

Checkin was very quick and easy. I rented a single room that had only a twin bed. This is ideal if you are planning a training weekend of cycling or running and traveling solo. Room was very clean and it was nice to be able to get to the hotel and settled in quickly. The location was great since it was a short walk from the restaurants in the city center but far enough away that it was still quiet and comfortable.

Only problem which may be an issue for some people was the room was a little cold even with the radiator on full, (it was about 6c outside at night), but that wasn’t really a problem for me personally.

Perfect location in the town centre. It has its own car park, but if that is full there’s a public car park on the doorstep. Very clean, had all amenities including kettle and a fridge. Powerful shower. The decor is clean and modern with a small bar. The breakfast is simple, but adequate. All the staff were very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to use it again if we were in Valkenburg.

A bit of a maze to get to the room with narrow stair cases and steep steps. Pack light as hauling a big suitcase would be a nightmare. You also don’t want to get to tipsy if you stay here as you may not get back to your room. Lol

The mattress was too soft for me and the rooms got rather warm (no airco). Ventilator was provided though.

What a lovely family business! Fantastic location, attentive staff, clean cozy rooms, really good breakfast - they even provided a perfect gluten-free option. We had a small problem with the size / access of the hotel parking spaces and decided to use public parking after all and they reimbursed the costs (10eur per day) without us even asking. Very fair.

Overall it was nice!

Location of the hotel is very nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wes very nice. Due to the fact that the hotel is rather old the corridoors are very narrow and many stairs up en down. The rooms are not very big but OK for one night.

The noisiness of the rooms and the temperature in the room. Both are issues that the management can address. The temperature is a quick fix, and the noisiness is implementing more stricter rules for fellow Guests with quiet hours to adhere to.

The location and breakfast were Superb. The Management was very nice as well. The lady at check-in was not very talkative and did not point out recommendations, or what to see or do in Valkenburg. The Front desk staff is always the face of the company, as well as the promoter of the City and Tourism to Valkenburg, so she could have done it better by representing her City and the Management.

Dimly lit room. The shower could have had a glass door so we didn't get the entire bathroom wet when taking a shower. The minibar was completely empty. There is nowhere to leave your bags after check-out, you must leave the hotel for good.

Family-run hotel. Excellent location, cleanliness, and service. Very polite staff and a delicious breakfast. Check-in closes early (7 pm) but they were super responsive to handing over the keys a little later.

The room for one person is very small, which is of course not very critical, but quite simple. However, at night it was terribly cold, and there was a lot of noise coming from the upper floor, meaning that isolation is very poor.

It is a perfect location, just in the centre of Valkenburg. The distance to Thermal baths is very walkable (10 minutes of a walk as a maximum). Besides, the place is clean, the staff is friendly (despite me arriving very late) and breakfast is quite delicious. In general, it has been a very good experience:)
