It is common that when you are alone you (relatively) pay a little bit more than when two. However, this time the room was very small and had a small single bed. Therefore, I do not understand why I had to pay more. Further, the room was outdated and the sink was broken. Just to mention, I missed the Dutch hagelslag for on the warm sandwiches during breakfast. And the chocopasta was a B-brand.

We visited Valkenburg for a first time and the Hotel 2000, is a clean and cozy hotel with affordable price for a night.

When we arrived in a cold room we were disappointed as we were expecting it to be warm as outside was cold. We put the heating on and luckily when we returns at 20.30 it was warmer. No heating in the bathroom. In the booking It Said all the taxes etc were included, we had to pay €6 toerist tax which we were not expecting.

Breakfast. Good comfortable beds. Clean especially the bedlinnen and towels.

Having to pay for parking on hotel property. I’ve stayed here many times in the past and was never charged for parking. I think quality has lapsed. I will stay somewhere else next time

The hotel is old, the room is old and the facilities are old. It really needs an upgrade. It was quite expensive too for its quality, but then again everything was expensive in Valkenburg around Christmas time, so this is understandable.

The hotel is clean, there's parking available for guests (at an extra charge, though) and the breakfast was nice.

The hotel was very tired and worn. Gives the feeling in certain areas that it is dirty but a new paint job would do the trick. Grey bed sheet is not very inviting! There is only one coffee machine so quite a queue in the morning and no fresh fruit at breakfast. No sound insulation from the road or room above. No hairdryer. A long walk to the center.

Parking is a expensive ar hotel. Overnight you can park in car parks. One up towards railway line 2hrs 7:30- 17:30. Other closer to town free 20:00 -11:00. Staff didn’t know about offsite parking We ended up with lots of very itchy bits after staying there City tax of 5€ each is expensive and an additional charge. Should be included in the price to stay there

I had a leaking water pipe into the toilet, l just turn off/on when needed:.Also it rain one afternoon water coming from outside down the curtains on to the floor.Very uncomfortable..And reported..

The hotel is grand but showing it's age (though I kinda like it). It was once stately, as (and still evident) is the other buildings on the street. It's the 1950's with some late 80's/early 90's mall art for some contemporary flare (again, I kinda liked it). The breakfast offerings were midrange at best.

The room I had was large, with vaulted ceilings. Hotel 2000 is about a 6 minute walk from Valkenburg's historic and small train and bus station. The city center is a 15 minute walk and the 6000 years old Neolithic flit mines(!) and Shimano Experience Center are even closer. The breakfast buffet was varied, so even if picky, you'll be able to select a few items to have a filling breakfast - automatic coffee machine with various selections is nice. The dinning area is large and bright. A restaurant and bar are onsite. Hotel 2000 has an elevator.

Room temperature to warm. Noisy parking place behind the hotel. Bed was not so good.

Our room was very cold bc one of the radiators did not work proper. And even after we complained it did not improve much. We been told that the boiler did not work well and have been repaid but it did not improve.

Everything was very good...Clean, friendly personel..breakfast continental very ,very good. Location close to everything. Parking behind the building.
