No hooks to hang coats or umbrella, only one tiny hook in the bathroom. The bedside lamps not very nice and the switches were the wrong way around. (bedside lamp the farthest). No public transport nearby to go to town centre.

Housekeeping. It was poor. No coffee in rooms, very little choice of tea either. Our room was not made up at all on one night, and we had to get the duty manager to bring us clean towels at 10pm. On another occasion, my wifes bed was not even made up. The old sheets were removed and a new one was just left on the desk. Again, she had to make her own bed - in a HILTON . Not good. The front desk and duty manager did offer a complementary drink at the bar though, so credit to them for the customer service.

Front Desk staff ( Rita & Olga ) and Bar/Diner staff were excellent. They did everything they could to help us.

I think that a bit thorough cleaning, in particular in the bathroom, would be good! Other than that, I couldn't find something of commenting against.

Quite a nice option in Leiden. The room was very big and comfortable, there was plenty of parking space, and the area was very clean and quiet; just 20 minutes walking distance from the beautiful city center.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday, so this stay was truly meaningful to me. The room was in good condition, although for some reason, the trash bin was missing a liner. I was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful and scenic location of the hotel. Overall, I believe this hotel deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I would also like to note that upon check-in, I was charged the city tourist tax again — despite being a resident of the country (though that’s not the main issue). Additionally, I was billed for parking next to the hotel room — which doesn’t exist. That was quite surprising for a hotel of this standard. I didn’t receive any response regarding this matter within three days. Overall, it was a decent stay, though I personally find prices in Western Europe far from budget-friendly.

Booked at Hilton inn since it was a Leiden marathon partner hotel, however the partnership did not come with any benefits. The hotel was a long way from Leiden center and we didnt recieve a discount or anything.

The room to accommodate three people was not prepared (sofa bed made, additional towels, additional tea bag for example! ), but worst - the receptionist was very bothered when I asked for it, as if it was my problem not her. They billed me a cost of parking that I did not use. In sum, poor management and organization and unfriendly staff.

The room is very comfortable and we could easily fit with 3 people (two ados), there is a lot of choice for breakfast, easy access from a highway
