We had to make up our bed. The stairs are rather steep which might not be good for people who have difficulties with that. It is a rather long drive (about 10-15 minutes) to the nearest supermarket. Although it was not hot when I was there, there is no airco.

Wifi was good, restaurant was good. You have a complete house with garden, sauna and Jacuzzi. Complete separate kitchen with large refrigerator oven/ microwave dishwasher. Large livingroom with large dining table. Large master bedroom. Although we did not use it, there is everything for babies. "The orgidieeenhoeven" was our main goal for this holiday and that is a very nice place to visit when you are in this location.

The staircase up to the bedrooms is abit narrow. Also, some of the kitchen utensils are abit old and need to be replaced.

It is a peaceful and beautiful neighbourhood. We like especially the road that leads to the nearby national park.

I didn't like the location much as there is nothing around. Giethoorn is definitely a nicer place to stay but as we didn't fins any hotels available in Giethoorn we opted for this hotel.

We liked everything actually. The hotel was beautifully decorated and they very much welcome dogs. In my experience first hotel who doesn't charge extra for dogs. They really love dogs and even allow them in breakfast rooms. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was OK. It was not fancy and they don't have buffet brekfast. They serve everything on the table according to the number of people, which is enough. You can ask more if you want, they will serve.

The sauna we couldn’t get to work and we managed to get someone from the hotel to try to get the hot tub to work. He said that it hadn’t been working properly for a long time! This made us 17 minutes late for our dinner reservation in the hotel and we were told the kitchen would be closing in ten minutes (8pm). No table had been set up for us anyway so just make sure you are on time! Luckily we were allowed to eat. Nice staff. Food was ok. Three bedrooms but we had to make our own beds! Unfortunately one of the rooms is above the generator so it was loud in the room and the floor vibrated. On checking out the lady was apologetic and said it normally gets switched off. Basic accommodation that needs a facelift and new hot tub. Such a shame!

Only 20 minutes away from our day out in Giethoorn and booked the house for 6 persons because of the jacuzzi and sauna.

amazing spot in Kalenberg! room was very clean and well prepared for our stay. Sauna & Jacuzzi perfectly working and we enjoyed our Jacuzzi time in the middle of aThunder storm! private parking for our villa and you are parking your car just next to the door! very quite and decent location and close to the lovely Giethoorn!
