GermanyThere was a terrible smell of cigarettes in the room. It was coming through the ventilation in the shower! It was very unpleasant to breathe, especially since there was a child and a baby in the room. There were not enough towels. They were provided upon request, but the fact that we had to go and ask for them added to the inconvenience. There was no remote control for the TV in the room.
A fairly spacious room. A large bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is a kettle, tea bags, coffee, etc.

Czech RepublicThere is no ventilation at all in bathroom, so you get constant funny smell which the hotel probably combats with using some very strong essence or spray, which results in very wierd ... smell, which is amost unberable, so i just let the doors open, opened the window and left the room for a long stroll.
Good price/performance ratio if you need place for sleepover for night. Not a superb honeymoon place :-) but it has beds and clean sheets although the hotel and its equipment shows wornout. Elevator is not working btw and probably never will, but the hotel has only 2 floors.

United KingdomWhen we arrived at 3.45pm there was nobody at reception, it was locked. There was a notice asking people to phone a number. We phoned the number and were told someone would come in 10 minutes. Someone arrived after 15 minutes and didn't apologize for keeping us waiting. The hotel was run down, the lifts didn't work, the restaurant above didn't appear to be open and the corridor had a strange stale smell. We got a message in the morning to do an online self checkout which we did. There was no instructions what to do with the keys and no box to put them into. We left them lying on a chair with others that had been left.
The hotel was easy to find and had lots of available nearby free parking. It was handy for getting the ferry. The room was ok, like you would expect in a budget hotel with thin towels, paper cups, no extra pillows.

United KingdomThe outside environs are Very unkempt The outside door access keypad units did not work at any time , and giving the outside door a hard push to access it ( as we were told to do ) is a foolish and unsecured system . Rooms were good Rooms were clean This is a modern hotel that could be so much better - it looks and feels like the asset is being squeezed for maximum profit and not enough is being put into maintaining the place
