Overall, the room is pleasant and spacious. But there are a lot of scuffs on the furniture in the room, I want to refresh everything. There was no stopper in the bathroom to close the water, it turned out to wash only under the shower

Turned up at the hotel a little earlier than anticipated and was asked to return later. A bit harsh i think. Showers could have more water pressure.

We stayed at Fletcher Badhotel Callantsoog for 1 night. Our particular room was 114 which was next door from 112; In other words, we stayed in room 113 which had been renamed to circumvent superstition. Though with the amount of things going awry, I wonder if there isn't more to it than that.. We tried ordering roomservice, but quickly learned we'd be ordering it to room 113 which did not exist. This meant we had to go down and ask whether it was possible in the first place. When returning to the room, to our surprise we found the balcony door to be wide open. But alas, must have been the wind. Room service did eventually arrive but tripped on the doorframe, leaving drinks and glass all over the floor, and even on the bed. In her panic, the waitress managed to pay the bill herself through wireless pay. Myself and the waitress then spent the better half of an hour cleaning up the glass and adding each other on WhatsApp so I could pay her back for the amount she accidentally paid in my stead. After all was said and done, we were left with replacement drinks, an hour of our time lost and a sticky floor that may or may not have had small shards of glass on it for the rest of our stay. It certainly was a one of a kind stay.

Breakfast. A very poor and un appetising selection choice which only varied over the three days we were there by the removal of one or more of the limited choices. Some of the disappointments: rubbery egg, deep fried bacon, no choice of yoghurts, no bread (just choice of three rolls) on one of the three days, croissants hit and miss, fresh fruit salad only appeared once......................... Table clearance poor - cutlery presented dirty (remains of food on fork tines) twice. Getting locked out because management hadn't informed residents that the code for the door had changed - hurrah for the dog owners who needed to walk their dogs. Squash court and sauna were available but not for free. Restaurant menu limited - cheaper to eat in the town.

Parking was free and available. Room was large and fitted with a balcony. Great selection of TV/cable channels Swimming pool was huge, looked clean and free to access (sadly no swim wear with us) Pool table and dart board free to use (unfortunately darts were more suited to crocheting than playing darts)

, Very old hotel, the price was too high compared with what U get, the breakfast was not very good, not much choice, the bulding was very old , the first room smelled not good, but staff was very kind, I changed room and the other room was better, not smelling. No hairdryer on room.

The room wasn't clean. The lift didn't work. The curtains were left open on the day we arrived so the room was baking hot. The ventilation didn't work. There are no facilities in the room; no coffee maker, no kettle, no desk.

Location; 15 minutes walk to the beach. Bedroom was large enough. Staff were friendly.

The room was very comfortable, I normally fall out of a single bed but two beds pushed together prevented that lol. bathroom was very spacious with a good shower. Breakfast again was perfect for me.

There was no proper ventillation in the bathroom, so that was a bit uncomfortable, for the humidity and smells, there were not enough hooks to hang wet towels on...but that was not a big problem.

The place was lovely, even if there is no extraordinary view, the place itself is nice enough. There is a huge parking place right in front of the hotel. The breakfast room was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. The pool and whirlpool was nice, even if a bit colder than we would expect. The room we had was really nice, cozy, but big enough, with chairs and armchairs, I liked also the pictures of the beach on the walls and of the lighthouse on the bathroom door.
