How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe hotel is clean and generally not bad, with a good mini market and enough space for a family stay. However, the very late check-in is a major drawback.
No clear instructions were provided. There is an app, but it’s not available on the international app store, so non-Dutch guests cannot download it. WhatsApp support is offered, but replies are very slow, and after around 8 PM, no one responds. The hotel provides access to certain water amenities, but towels are not included. The water park feels outdated, overcrowded, and poorly managed. There is no space to relax, and the attractions run slowly. Breakfast requires booking a time slot, but without the app—and with WhatsApp support unresponsive—it’s nearly impossible to arrange. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, and the park itself is decent, though it could be better maintained. The golf courses are broken, and much of the property feels like it’s falling apart. Some facilities, which one would reasonably expect to be complimentary, are instead charged as extra services. Parking for hotel guests is located outside together with regular visitors, which means quite a long walk to the rooms.

Verified reviewThe location was amazing, in nature and on a lake. We were at the hotel and the cleaning staff was super nice. The water park is great.
The overall approach - charging for every little thing. You need more linens? 18 euros. There's a heat wave and you need a fan? 6 euros per day (and there were only 10 fans to give out in the entire facility). Also, if you open the windows there will be bugs since only some of the windows have no screens. The bed was not very comfortable and the room was relatively small. I understand that the approach is to be in a cabin in nature, but basic amenties are a must in order to enjoy the vacation.

Verified reviewhotel location and aqua mundo
We go to Center Parcs quite often and we enjoy it. This time they decided to cut the grass in Aqua Mundo, exactly where wilde baan is, where we hang out the most. It was impossible to enjoy the experience with all the noise made by 4-5 cutting machines. I told the staff and from 10 till 14.30 they were busy even though they said they'd finish around 12.30. Annoying, our experience was not nice because of that.

Verified reviewThis is our 3rd time in this particular Center Parks. As always the accommodation was nice and modern. We were surprised with an upgrade so our room was more like a suite. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a big bathroom with sauna, shower and a jacuzzi tub. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The accommodation was very clean, and even when we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, the personnel would leave fresh towels, toilet paper, coffee capsules and tea for us outside our door. Swimming in Aqua Mundo was very relaxing and pretty quiet especially at the outside pool in the evening, as our stay was in late November. The location of the hotel complex is quite convenient as it is less than 5 minutes away from all the main park shops, restaurants and pools. The parking lot isn't too far either. We will definitely visit again
The only thing we can think of to point out is that although there were quite a few options for vegetarians, there were barely any vegan options at the park restaurants. For a short stay this shouldn't be a big issue, but if you stay long enough and want to dine in the park the meals will get repetitive.

Verified reviewThe hotel room is amazing. You get a comfortable little sofa in your seating area, as well as an outside table with two chairs. Plus a nice basic setup for coffee and tea. We were delighted to find out we had a cosy fire in our room as we visited in the winter. It's open-plan but the bedroom has it's own little corner away from the seating area.
The pool is great for kids, but the water isn't as warm as you would expect for a 'tropical' pool. The hotel room itself was great, nothing to complain.

Verified reviewNice and modern accommodation. Bigger than an average hotel room. Comfortable bed, nice shower, sitting area, and balcony overlooking the water.
