Nothing to dislike

Location ! VERY close (3 minute walk?) to Scheveningen Beach with it's boardwalks and many cafes with a wonderful sea view. The host was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was in a different hotel about a block away (owned by same family) and was plenty in what was offered - bread, cheeses, yogurt, sliced meats, juice & coffees.

Friendly owner. Breakfast was good. Good location. Room fine. Tram lines 1 and 9 take you where you want to go.

Door was hard to get unlocked. Handle wasn't secure, but host was going to fix that. Breakfast was decent, but I preferred more fresh fruit and oatmilk for non-dairy people.

Beds were great. Room was clean. Host was friendly. Location was very close to everything you'd want or need. Beach is literally around the corner.

The bathroom was a bit small and it was a lithe noisy with the tram at the front of the house.

The room for the three of us was very spacious, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. We appreciated the large range we used to play games. The breakfast was better than expected.

Not really fault of the hotel, but parking in the location is very expensive. Daily rate in nearby public parking is 37 EUR.

Beach right behind hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfast, equipment of the room was nice and TV had even English speaking channels.

There’s no place to park your car, just in the parking garage which is expensive.

The accommodation could be described as basic with a somewhat outdated feel & look. Sink located in room, not next to WC .

Spacious room, coffee maker, good shower and bed, breakfast in room. Excellent location close to Scheveningen promenade and beach with easy tram links to city centre and train station.

The sink was in the middle of the room. I must have overlooked that in the photos. The shower was so small inside the toilet. It was not a proper bathroom. It was more shower / toilet. Breakfast could be better. Perhaps an omelette or fried egg could be added. And some fresh food like tomatoes and cucumbers. It was not to my taste. And also considering the fact that the room rate is quite high at a bank holiday weekend. For me it was a really low quality stay overall considering the money we paid.

Location was the best thing about this property.

Negatives if I would write: -wooden floors so you need to walk slowly in the room! -5 min walk to tram to get you to centre!

It's a family hotel! We liked everything there. The staffs the room and the location were good. The hotel is nearby beach so if you are going to Den Haag for beach it is perfect! just 4min walk to the beach! If you'll get breakfast they'll give it to you in your room, so enjoy it in the balcony! If you get there a little earlier that the check in time no worries they'll accommodate you! If you need to check out early don't worry they do everything they can! Even once we borrow an umbrella from the reception! They'll always cool with you!

The location is perfect! You have access to the city and the beach easily with public transport or by foot.

the bathroom too small and the sink in the room. Parking is a big problem but it does not depend on the hotel. The city thinks only of citizens and not of tourists. You can leave your car only in large car parks where you pay €35 a day.

Nothing, It’s not really a hotel, it’s an old house that’s been adapted. The beds are old with terrible mattresses, the bathroom is old and dirty, the room seemed to have either mold or a lot of dust, and we left there feeling sick

It's pretty old, small and without airco it was too hot for the night. To be fair, it was one of the hottest day and night of the year (30C/22C)

Location and staff are top. We had a room at the back and that turned out to be very quiet.

There was no good ventilation.

Near the beach and bus, tram stops. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds, clean and neatly tidy, very mindful and kind staff!
