Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlands"I would say this place is perfect for relaxation, but there is one drawback — the sensitivity of the shower water temperature. Even a slight turn of the tap made the water either boiling hot or freezing cold, and it took quite some time to adjust it properly. If this issue were fixed, it would definitely deserve a full 10/10."
"I really enjoyed my stay — it was simply perfect. The room had everything I needed: a spacious bathroom, cozy and even a bit romantic lighting, and a comfortable bed. The dishwasher was a wonderful bonus, and I truly enjoyed cooking there — they provided a pot, a frying pan, a strainer, as well as all the cutlery and even a coffee machine. Everything was convenient, atmospheric, and well thought out. The toilet was right next to the room, so I didn’t have to go far, and no one disturbed me during my stay. It was quiet, peaceful, and very pleasant. On top of that, I could go down to the ground floor, sit with a free cup of tea, and simply enjoy the atmosphere. For me, it was a real gem."

NetherlandsThe location was great! Next to public transportation, shops, supermarket. So centrally located but the atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed. The lobby area was nicely decorated with a lot of books and plants and very quiet, also in the room you did not hear anything despite being in the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect for long stay since it had a kitchen but still had the nice luxurious feeling of a hotel room with bathtub, which I love.

AustraliaThe only downside was the very convoluted entrance via two lifts and a zig-zag of corridors, though I know sometimes this is a function of the building design.
Nice room with a great bathroom and bathtub. Excellent stay overall — clean, modern, and very comfortable.

United KingdomNo negative points for us
We liked everything about our stay here. Apartment was small but had everything we needed and the bathroom with separate bath and shower was great. Very convenient location, easy access to public transport, shops, restaurants, key sights. Supermarket directly opposite. Really useful to be able to use the free laundry facilities and nice to have the comfortable seating area in reception for coffee. Staff were brilliant, would love to return!

United StatesNothing! It was perfect. I would just say watch out the shower can be a little slippery and the bathroom can be a little cold if you have the AC on since there's no door (just a curtain) but we weren't really bothered by it just something to keep a note of incase it's important to you.
This hotel was an easy 10/10. The location was fantastic: right infront of a tram that takes you directly to the main train station in under 5 minutes; near several supermarkets; and surrounded by shopping options. I loved that it was right in the heart of the city but still very quiet and peaceful. The room and the bathroom were spotless and incredibly comfortable for 2 people. The kitchen had the basic, cups, plates, utensils, etc we needed for our stay and the fridge was huge. The staff was available 24/7 and was always willing to help no matter what the request (extra towels, extra toilet paper, directions, etc.) I would absolutely stay here again next time I visit Holland.

United KingdomVery convenient layout of the actual apartment. The proximity/ location being in the centre makes this ideal. Special mention to the staff who were all so welcoming and made the whole check in and check out experience a pleasure. We were grateful to of been able to also enjoy an early check in. We had a very comfortable stay and will definitely be returning. The actually apartment is equipped with all the necessary crockery one needs and we also loved having a full sized fridge which we have found to be rare with other apartment-hotels in the centre. The communal area in the reception is also a great addition for working/ relaxing and enjoying the free tea and coffee! :) luggage storage was very efficient

United KingdomEverything was fine.
The location of this place was amazing. Just a ten min walk from the station. Or if you want to take the tram its right outside the station to outside Primark and then a few mins walk. The building is opposite a big Albert Hejn shop which is ideal if you want to make some food in your apartment. There is also an entrance to the underground outside too. The entrance to the building is via a lift which takes you to reception. The reception area smells beautiful and the decor is very nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The reception has free tea and coffee and water. The room itself was fully equipped. There's a small kitchen area and somewhere to sit and eat and the bed is really comfy. The bedroom and shower area was separated by a curtain which was unusual for me but worked out OK. The toilet was in a separate room. There was a chaise longe and a TV. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped. The place is 5 minute walk to a music venue called Paard. 2 minute walk to Pathe cinema. 2 minute walk to the independent cinema Filmhaus. The Passage is next door which takes you to the Prison Gate Museum. Cove centrum is so perfectly located to all things exciting to do and experience. I understand the cleaning gets done once a week but this was not a problem. Also on first floor is a gym and laundry. They provide you with soap for laundry which is nice but if you need more, the Albert Hejn is a magical place with everything you would ever need for your trip esp if you forget something.

ArubaThe only slightly annoying things were from the room itself, which had the bathroom lock not working properly. This is likely not a big deal if you aren't sharing a room with someone who you'd prefer to have that type of security with when doing your business. The second issue with the room was the drain blocker for the bathtub not working properly as well. It doesn't seem to be made to fit properly for that particular drain so if you try to take a warm bath or something, you'll probably have to find something to help keep the water from leaking through the drain blocker or just forget about it. Though to be fair I never asked the staff about it, so there was likely a fix that could have been applied if I brought it up to them. I personally wouldn't consider this a negative considering the location of the place, but the window view wasn't necessarily great.
Navigation to the room was simple enough, it was pretty quiet despite traveling there during a potentially noisy holiday, so sleeping was never an issue. Staff was helpful and very nice and even having a very relaxing lobby with access to Tea and Coffee at all times was an unexpected bonus. The room itself was not too small or too big for 2 people. Really great spot for those who need a room that doubles as a place you can use for when you're staying in for a day or two and a majority of your trip will involve being out of the room.
