A bit noisy when other Guests walk on the Stairs. I wished a separate Bathroom in the Room. It would be nice to have a Microwave in the Room

The sink in the toilet is too small, only ok for hands (to wash your face and teeth water goes everywhere). No breakfast available. Stairs and doors very noisy! But during night it was quiet and I could sleep.

Small room but I had a kettel and coffee bags, which was very appreciated! You need to have your cup! TV, fan and small table available. Close to transport and beach.

I'm a larger / somewhat overweight person and I literally kept falling off the twin bed! Not comfortable. I finally propped luggage under the mattress at the top and that was stabilizing. Yikes. Also there was lots of noise from other guests in the afternoon, evening and morning. Stressful. A room next to me had an alarm going off in the afternoon for 3 hours.

The location is very good. The staff was fairly friendly.

A very small, very basic room. The shared bathroom in the hallway was incredibly small too, I didn't bother showering there, I waited until I got home. Shower and toilet were in the same bathroom, so you will need a bit of luck if you want to use either. The bed was good. The room had carpet, a small desk with a chair, a sink, and curtains that let the light go through. Wifi worked fine. I asked about breakfast and the friendly guy at the reception desk advised me not to have it there but go to the boulevard instead. Location is great, it's so so close to the Kurhaus. I will stay here again if it's just for 1 night.

There were a few things but nothing major. Maybe it's what you get for the price. Plus there were mosquitos in summer and the bites caused long lasting pain for my toddler.

Location. Cheapest hotel we could find near te beach.

We reserved a room for three and we had a two person room with an extra bed, it was not enough space to walk in the room, the third bed was not comfortable. The balcony was dirty. It was not possible to sit there and enjoy the quietness of the place. What a pity.

It is nearly the schevening beach.

I enjoyed my stay, but it would have been even better if the fish were kept in decent conditions!

In the general entrance of the hotel was a small tank with two fish (sluierstaarten in Dutch). The tank was dirty (green glass) and the water level was very low which made me think they were perhaps lacking oxygen. Apart from pebbles and a stone there was nothing for the fish to do and nowhere to hide. The hotel was using live animals as an accessory without paying attention to their needs. I expressed my concerns about the low water levels and the lack of oxygen. I also said I thought the lights in the entrance hall were on 24/7 so the animals could not get a natural day and night rhythm. When I talked to the manager on the last day of my stay, he reassured me that the lights do go off at night, but that they go on with a sensor when people enter. He also said he would buy the fish a bigger tank and add some plants for oxygen and some shelter.

The room was everything it had promised to be: simple, but very comfortable and relatively cheap. Nice bed! Very close to the beach! The receptionist was friendly and helpful and quickly supplied the water cooker that was missing from my room. He was also helpful when I expressed my concerns about the living conditions of the fish that were kept in the general entrance hall of the hotel (I was in room nr. 2). He cleaned their tank a bit and added some water so they could breath a bit better. He also expressed my concerns for the welfare of the fish to his manager. The manager later told me he would make an effort to improve the living conditions and the welfare of the fish! I'll gladly come back to see the result!

It was fairly easy to hear what was going on around the hotel, the mattresses were a bit uneven and the location of the bed near the window meant that the curtains did not keep out the light in the morning.

This is a decent, basic hotel: it is a bit below par for the money you pay, but it is not bad. The room has all the things you need for a short stay and nothing more. The shower was comfortable. The location is great and checkin and checkout were easy.

I had a very small room 8m² at the street and when the sun shines in you need to ask the very friendly staff for a fan, because the temperature is getting really hot in there from 10am to 6pm (10-18h). I had no own toilet. The floor of the shared toilets smell a bit and the floor of the showers are a bit dirty. They need intensive cleaning. The fact that the shared bathrooms are dirty is more so the fault of the hotel guests than of the hotel cleaning ladies.

Very friendly staff. Very close to the beach. Supermarket, cash mashine and any shop you need close. Great TV channels, to be precise better TV channels than most 3 and 4 star hotels in the Netherlands. The rooms are extremely clean. It's a great place if you just need a room to sleep and are outside all day or maybe a few hours there to watch TV and eat. If you want a own toilet and bathroom you need to pay a bit more... and then it's the best price here in Scheveringen, The Hague.
