United StatesIt's an amazing hotel with fantastic helpful & warm staff--truly a a luxury experience. The room was fantastic, and the hotel was beautiful. The grounds were beautiful (though we didn't get to explore much due to a delayed arrival and rain), but a highlight was that we could enjoy the beautiful view while staying dry inside.

We had a real surprise when we booked at this lovely property. Straight after our arrival, we headed for the bar for a lovely pre-dinner appetitive. The bar was stunning in a classic, rustic kind of way. We then were guided to our table in the dining room and this is where the real magic started to unfold in front of our eyes, with the absolute highlight of a dish with smoked eel for two persons. I didn’t expect at all this culinary feast. The staff were engaging and very pleasant. In the morning we were able to have a lovely breakfast despite us being up at 6:30am. What a treat this has been. I will make a detour next time i am in The Netherlands to visit this lovely place again….

NetherlandsRoom was in the attic without daylight with basic equipment (e.g., no fridge). Restaurant aspires to haute cuisine offering mini portions at exorbitant prices. The whole place is a bit pretentious and over the top. Maybe interesting as a venue for a business retreat.
