How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewMolecaten Park Wijde Blick had something for the whole family: a fun playground with a trampoline plus a pool with a waterslide for children and nice outdoor spaces for grilling, relaxing or simply hanging out. The picturesque town of Renesse along the North Sea coast with its nice shops and restaurants is also a quick car or bike ride away. The above mentioned facilities as well as the housing was well kept. We also felt safe at all times. It is also a major plus there was a supermarket on the premises within walking distance from our cottage!
There was nothing we didn’t like - our expectations were more than exceeded.

Verified reviewThe indoor pool any the playgrounds are very nice. The animation program for the kids was good and they had fun, even if we speak no Dutch at all. The shop in the park was well equipped. The park in general was clean and well maintained.
We were missing the air conditioning in the house on the hot days. The wi-fi had some issues as well. There were some noisy guests and nobody from the personnel came to ask them to respect the silence at night.

Verified reviewThe location is great. Nice surrounding area and very close to the beach as well as beautiful villages. There are also some nice perks in terms of staying in the park: the indoor swimming pool is a massive plus, the activities for kids, all the playgrounds throughout the park, the supermarket (although you still need to go to a bigger one if you want any fresh products…)
The comfort of the actual chalet is not so great. The acoustics are awful. My daughter couldn’t sleep because of the noise made from birds playing on the tin ceiling. There are also awful smells: from the constant barbecues every one around us were having, from the toilet. The bedsheets are provided but the beds aren’t made upon arrival… and some of the sheets were stained and had holes in them. Also, our chalet had an ant infestation on the doorstep so we couldn’t eat outside.

Verified reviewThe place was clean, organized and there was an indoor pool in case of bad weather.
It needs a small walk to reach the beach or the city center for those without bike.

Verified reviewquite, clean, suitable for families with children and groups, easy to access, easy parking, easy to grill, lots of fun for children like swimming pool and bicycle riding, video games in the near village, sea side , bar and restaurants in driving access, very delicious ice cream in the Renesee. remember that there is no food service in the facility and you should prepare it all yourself or eat outside. better to bring the required food material with yourself due to high price of things in Renesee and other villages around.
The most stupid thing about the area (and maybe all Nederland) is that they have no emergency ambulance or on-call medical service in the area at nights, even after phone call to 112. After 40 min talking on the phone, we had to go to a local clinic in 30 min driving distance because they didn't sent the ambulance. My wife even couldn't stand up and thanks god that our friends were there to take care of our small child. It is crazy. We went at 12:00 and couldn't get in when we came back, because the the door is closed from 23:00 and there is no one to answer for such a emergency issues. another stupid issue! we slept in the car all night. High cost of Fuel, raw food materials and almost everything. Very limited food options in the park itself with limited working time and no shops or groceries in the walking range. no air condition in the rooms for hot days of summer.

Verified reviewNice easy and honest
Very very expensive for the minimal things you get. I understand the concept of it being a camping site, you should bring everything on your own. But it was way over priced for that! Especially the request for cleaning everything behind us. For the price we paid it makes no sense at all
