United KingdomBrilliant hotel in a beautiful little coastal town. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly, with lots of good advice about where was good to eat locally, and some tips on dutch language! The facilities were brilliant, a lovely pool that the kids really enjoyed. The breakfast was excellent and a lovely view of the harbour from the restaurant. The rooms we were staying in were nice and quiet.

United KingdomWhen I checked in I was gives room 19, being in the room for a few hours we heard the door go and someone walked it, it appeared that the person who checked us in didn’t assign us to the room so when someone else checked in they where given the same room, good job we was in as we could have had some things stolen if the people came in and didn’t walk out, I told reception and they apologised but it still shook us both up

NetherlandsGetting to the property was quite hard because you had to drive through the touristy streets. Room needs a paint job and a maintenance job in the shower. As a hotel guest we were send away for the restaurant in the hotel :(

United KingdomWas 35mins for the centre & my Ubers couldn't access the village due to roads being constantly blocked closed with steel bollards. Had to twice late at night walk finally 1.2km to hotel alone. Hotel advertised fridge in room safe, hairdryer. None of these where in the room. No mirrors to get ready apart from one on back of door out of the room. Had to get hairdryer from reception 2 didn't work and had no nozzle.

SingaporeThere is no access to the sea. It was not easy to find the hotel as there were no proper signage and instructions on what to do when you reach the gated only road leading to the hotel. Also the road was crowded with tourists. The parking was a bit expensive.
The hotel was very nicely decorated. You can take lots of photos in the lobby, Has nice large rooms with great views of the sea. Has kettle in the room. There are proper elevators (not common in the Netherlands) Right along the main tourist street.

NetherlandsThe service at check-in. Receptionist couldn't find our booking and was adamant that he didn't need our Booking.com confirmation. It took 15 minutes to find our rooms. The curtains in the room are very thin and don't block out any light. The room was very noisy from a motor outside that ran all night.
Great location in the center and close to the harbour. Beautiful old building with a great sea view from the restaurant and bar. Great choice at breakfast and the pool and sauna were an added bonus.

SpainThe only downside I would mention is that there were several cobwebs in the room, and we even noticed some spiders, despite housekeeping coming in daily. It didn’t affect the overall experience too much, but it’s something that could be improved.
My stay at the hotel was truly a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable, with beautiful views of the sea that made every morning feel special. The food was absolutely delicious, with great variety and well-crafted flavors. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always welcoming us with a smile and ready to help with anything. Definitely an experience I’d love to repeat. Thank you for making it so special!

Old charms hotel with a gorgeous selection of art paintings. My room had a big balcony with sea view. Although centrally located on the strip it is very quiet. Staff at reception, restaurant and spa are friendly. Room has all amenities. I would definitely stay again in this hotel.

UkraineHowever, there were some disappointing points. When booking, I had requested at least a small birthday greeting — a card or a kind gesture. In the end, there was neither a card nor any flowers (I decided not to order flowers separately, since they would not have survived delivery in 35-degree heat). This felt like a missed opportunity to delight a guest. Also, the breakfast, costing €20 per person, seemed quite limited — my parents only found one type of cheese, which was surprising, especially in Volendam where cheese is a local pride. The absence of even a small portion of smoked salmon, being so close to the waterfront, felt a bit strange and disappointing. I hope these details will help the hotel to improve its service in the future. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant, the staff was responsive, and the room met our expectations.
We booked 2 nights for my parents to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Overall, the hotel was pleasant — it has a great location right by the water, and the room was spacious, with a balcony and a beautiful view of the bay. Special thanks to Tim from the staff, who cooled the room in advance, which was very important in the hot weather.
