Basic amenities like toiletries, towels, coffee etc were not provided. even bath mat was not there. This is basic amenities and must be provided. One need to carry their own tissue paper and hand wash as well to this facility which is absurd.

There are no hooks for hanging towels or clothes in the bathrooms.

The bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms, and floors of the group house have been completely renovated. The beds are comfortable, and the bedrooms are clean and reasonably spacious. The kitchen is outdated but functional and not bad. In fact, I found it better than expected. It was a wonderful experience with the family for three days.

It wasn’t the property’s fault but other guests on the property setting off fireworks. I booked for oud en nieuw, because I found the property through a ‘vuurwerk vrij’ blog. The only bad experience I had here was walking with my dog and a firework went off 5 metres in front of us which gave my dog a lot of trauma, I do not blame the property or management for this

The staff were very welcoming and friendly to my dog and I. Room was clean, bed was comfy, the bathroom is a good comfortable size and I liked being able to open my door to the garden in the morning for some fresh air

Some of the furniture was worn and the toilet seat upstairs was broken. It was not obvious you need to bring your own towels or pay extra for them.

The cottage was cute and well equipped. It exceeded my expectations. It was a good base for our weekend away and the restaurant on site was good

It was not centrally located and there are no grocery shops in nearby. Rooms are very small .

There is no food variety there. Everything is closed around 8pm in the evening , so only KFC or Mcdonalds was available.Breakfast included was also very expensive. 18 euros for buffet breakfast and there was also not much variety available in the breakfast.

Location was central and you can reach Giethoorn city center in 15 minutes.

The shower facilities were terrible. Old, moldy, broken. Very very bad indeed, not worth (any) money. Luckily we were just there for a weekend. Not taking action on the renovation of the shower facilities would definitely make me not book there again, which is a shame considering the location to be very nice. The house is somewhat empty, lacking decoration or cosyness - there were no pillows or blanket or rug... Seems very naked with some very random paintings on the wall. Beds could be more comfortable but that is something to think about after the shower room. Overall cleanness of the house was satisfactory, cobwebs and dust everywhere.

The location is beautiful and quiet. There is an open field, to which the houses face and behind there is a nice forest area. There is privacy and it is not at all crowded. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is very relaxing and good for a weekend away.

The facilities in the on site hotel seem aimed at functions, so somewhat limited, that said there is an outdoor area, for a drink after a walk through the forests, all be it choice not that extensive . Did not use restaurant so cannot comment.

Moskitos in the room as there are no nets in front of the window. Room is basic and too pricey for what U are getting. U can hear your neighbours.

I was a bit constrained that the check-in in limited until 5 pm, afterwards staff are no longer on premises.

The location is rather remote, with nature and hiking trails all around, and access to the outside right from the room.
