United KingdomThe protected status of this buildings of this nature precludes the installation of a lift and so it is necessary to use stairs to reach the upper floors. The staff are very willing to carry luggage to and from rooms on these floors but potential visitors who have significant difficulties with stairs would be advised to check with the hotel when booking to see if a ground floor room is available.
This is a delightful, characterful, hotel created in an old 4-storey Dutch town house. The room we had was excellent with really good beds and an excellent bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast provided was very good - especially the individually cooked eggs and bacon! It is ideal as a base in the very heart of Maastricht. We spent 3 nights here and would certainly use it again.

United KingdomThe stairs are steep & narrow, and there's no lift. At the door of our room (124) there's a small but unexpected step which I think should be warned of with a sign on outside of the door - "Mind the step down!" Limited shelf space in the bathroom.
The location is very central. The facility to leave baggage before check-in/after check-out is very useful. Post-booking & pre-check-in communications were timely & very clear. All the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. The beds & pillows were comfortable. Electric kettle & capsule coffee machine. Several usable electricity sockets, inc near the beds.

ItalyNo door for the toilet (if you are traveling with a friend or a partner be ready to basically have no wc privacy), the room was cleaned daily but still a bit dusty and triggered my allergy. Last day at 8am there was no hot water in the shower.
Great place for a couple of nights in Maastricht! Great position near the main square and the city centre. Staff was nice and friendly, the building was typical old Dutch structure with steep stairs but overall nice. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. There was a coffee machine and a bottle of water offered in the room.

SwedenMy room could have needed a bit of an update. Nothing that I really minded. But the paint was peeling off in the shower ceiling. And the zink was way to small to wash your face. Very Dutch to have very steep stairs, but if you have a problem with walking in stairs, I would talk to the hotel so that they don’t place you on the top floor.
Close to down town and shops and restaurants. Cute hotel and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Will absolutely stay here again.

Everything except for shower was perfect. Only cons was that the shower didn’t have a door. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location is too close to famious places of the city. For the visitors who want to come here with their private car, the q-park frontenpark is cheap and convenient for the location of the property. At the bottomline, the property is very good for the visitors who want to experience historical accomodation feelings.
