Mayke is such a lovely host! The room was so beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and fresh! I had some problems with delays before check-in, but Mayke was very understanding and kind! I really recommend staying there!

Shutters could have done with a quick dust (but I am picky) Would have liked draws for clothes if staying longer . Guest book would be nice . Overall a beautiful place to stay.

Quite noisy ( planes arriving into Schiphol and people on the street). Getting in touch with Mayke was more difficult than expected in the beginning but smooth once we got in touch

Amazing room (old style decoration), very personal touch and communication (hospitality / very welcoming, feeling at home) with the owners and beautiful surroundings at walking distance. All in all a very great stay! Would recommend certainly.

Breakfast was good. There was orange juice but only on the first morning. Would have liked it every morning

Perfect location in a quiet village. Very handy for day trips to popular destinations. The bedroom was very large but could have benefitted with a comfy sofa instead of the chairs. Breakfast was not included but a limited continental breakfast could be ordered from the host. Coffee/Soft drinks/beer and wine was available from the small communal guest room.

Parking could have been easier. The parking spots in the street are small, so if you drive a somewhat larger car, you may struggle a little. After the first night, the room was cleaned, but not after the second night, and the coffee for the room was not refilled. No big deal, but still.

We loved the location, the building and the room. We loved the sense of independence, coming in and out, using the fridge for our soft drinks. It all seemed very easy.

Great location for our trip to Keukenhof - 15 minutes away and 20 minutes from Schipol and 15 minutes from Leiden. Very smart conversion of an old house in the pretty village of Warmond. Very spacious room which could handle more furniture for greater comfort.

This place indeed exceeded our expectations. One special comment about the host is that she was very helpful with everything. My wife and i will definitely stay there in near future and can not recommend enough to potential future guests.

Can’t think of anything!

The house and the room are beautiful and very spacious. Breakfast extremely good every time. Location gives easy access to Schiphol Airport by car. Owners/ caretakers easy to deal with.

The breakfast was delicious, prepared each day at the time you wanted, waiting for you at your table. Awesome fresh yogurt, some fresh veggie pieces, meat and cheese, hard boiled egg, and warm bread with jam and sprinkles available. Really loved the freshly squeezed orange juice, and the cappuccino machine. Exceptional start to every day of my stay. The room was luxurious with chandeliers and the bed was very comfy. Some of my friends even asked if I was staying in a castle.. The owners were very attentive to make sure my stay was exceptional. The cobblestone street near awesome restaurants was beautiful. Really enjoyed the French and Italian restaurants down the street. It was the perfect little village get away that was also close to the highway for all my day trips.
