I have nothing negative say! Just be aware that rules for tourist accommodation are really strict in Amsterdam - this is legally known as a B&B (confusingly this means that you can have breakfast on the premises, not that you are provided with breakfast) with facilities closer to a hotel room rather than a self contained apartment. So prepare to eat all meals out.

Staying at Boat and Boost was like the early days of Airbnb: quirky and very cool accommodation in the host's home that really connects you to the place in a way that staying in a hotel cannot do. Jan Paul is an amazing host - super friendly, helpful, attentive and fun. It's beautifully designed and a fun space in a really lovely part of Amsterdam, with a tram to the centre 3 mins walk away. Honestly, just book it - you won't be disappointed!

We had an amazing 3 night stay on the boat for my wife's 30th birthday, the place was very clean upon arrival. JP our host was great from start to finish and made us feel welcome on to the boat right away and he even went to the effort of putting 'Happy Birthday' decorations up. The facilities are fantastic, exactly as they look in the photos! He also has a very friendly dog named Luuk who greeted us every day. Can't recommend this place enough - arrived as guests and left as friends 👍🏻

My parents stayed here for my dad's 60th birthday. They had a fantastic time and attribute a huge part of their great stay to the boat and the excellent hosting from JP. They really enjoyed the boat's facilities - it was super clean, comfortable and way better than a hotel! They especially loved the terrace and the little visits from JP's dog. The location is great with plenty to do around the boat and a short trip into the centre of Amsterdam. They can't wait to stay again. Thanks JP!!

There was nothing that we didn’t like it was perfect for what we wanted but it probably wouldn’t be suitable for older people due to the bed being up high but it was great for us

It was clean and smart, had everything we needed and was in a lovely quiet area. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine and beer was in the fridge. There was air conditioning and lovely sized shower. It was quite a walk to the centre but we did it every day all along the canals. It was beautiful

The place is awesome, just like in the pictures. it as all about relaxing. The host was very nice and helpful. The boat is outside downtown, allowing the opportunity to explore another part of Amsterdam, a more authentic one I'd say. It was definitely a great experience.

Where to start. What a fantastic little spot, quiet and private but close to town. The sauna and steam shower and jacuzzi bath were a real luxury and have given me bathroom goals. The host was so friendly and on hand with advice on where to go and how to get there. We would most definitely visit again.

This is hands down one of the most romantic and special places to stay. The facilities just make your stay so chilled and relaxed. JP has thought of everything, from the sauna, hot tub and steam room to the coffee machine, music system, Netflix - he even put some decorations up for my boyfriends birthday and filled the mini bar ! I did not want to leave. The bed is comfy. The location is perfect and having the electric bikes was very useful, we used them everyday and saw so much of the city. The tram stop is literally a 5 min walk. Getting to the airport was super easy and 40 mins on public transport. It’s an oasis, a cocoon and a beautiful escape and totally worth the money. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy boat life in the sun!

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The location is a dream. Super quiet and well located. There are nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby. JP is a pleasant host and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. I would love to come back.
