It was a small but cosy place. It's been with the new management for year and a half. Few bits needing to get improved. Already spoken to lady(owner) and gave my impartial advice.

It is far away from the center and from train station but you know it before you book it. I stayed in a single-bed room for one night. The room was so small and bed is directly next to the wall and there is no covering layer on the wall. Breakfast contained simple things like jam, cheese, ham and boiled egg only.

The lady was so friendly, welcoming and smiling. Due to the location, it is quite silent there.

Nothing, but then again I like querky, and places with individuality. If you want modern uniformity go to a more expensive chain hotel.

A little blast from the past, which I really enjoyed. Decoration style reminded me of my 70's childhood. Clean and comfortable and the manageress was lovely and helpful. Breakfast plentiful. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

It feels like it was missing an attention to simple comfort details. For example the chairs scrape on the floor which could be avoided by placing gliders under them (a pack of 12 costs a euro). A tall cabinet is in front of the balcony door. The balcony is old and dirty. The bathrooms are dated (but clean).

When I arrived the lady was extremely friendly and welcoming. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was relatively new (which is always a pleasant surprise).

Room smelt badly of cigarette smoke. Room had everything you needed, but no real charm or character - even to the extent that there was only a paper cup for your tea / coffee. Lock on room door was not working properly - so when I got back at 10pm, my key was just spinning in the lock. After 10 or 15 minutes, my 3rd phone call to the owners was answered, who told me the trick of getting the lock to work. (It's a shame the receptionist didn't tell me earlier or that they hadn't promptly replaced the lock).

Clean functional room. Excellent breakfast. Reasonable value for money.

Some double rooms are not much bigger than single rooms, but are priced accordingly.

The hotel is being refurbished. There is outstanding modernisation and renewal. The pricing is good value for the rooms. The price / quality ratio is good. The star know this and are amazing. It’s a family owned business and they really care. Free street parking is available, including EV chargers. You can walk into the city centre in 25 minutes or a taxi is €10_€15 I would stay there again.

The pictures of the rooms you see in booking.com don`t reflect the actual situation. Our toilet was leaking and there was a pile of water on the floor all the time. You could hear all the neighbours through the walls. And it was also a bit overpriced because of the high demand and short supply on hotels due to European Indoor Championships in Athletics.

The neighbourhood was very quite and the staff very friendly.

The room was fine and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and some communal areas are tired and dated.

Poky rooms, very small for two people. Whole place is very tired and desperately needs refurbishing. Attention to detail is lacking, shower fittings are broken and wiring looked old either broken casings. If you were a larger plus size person, you would be uncomfortable fitting in the toilet and the shower water spills over into the toilet area which does not drain away.
