We stayed at B&B Habitat during our trip to the Netherlands and were absolutely delighted. The place is beautifully designed, cozy, and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts, Frederiek and Reginald, greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel truly cared for from the very beginning. Our little son also felt right at home! Although we traveled across almost the entire country over two weeks, we never found another place that could even come close to comparing with Habitat. It truly stood out as a highlight of our journey, and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

The breakfast was a wonderful collection of the best items in the Netherlands. It included local cheese, meats and eggs, Poffertjes (Dutch Mini Pancakes), fruit, and fresh bread. The room was spacious with a shower, coffee/tea station, and television. B&B Habitat's owners were very accommodating and recommended local eateries and sites. These were spot on and did not disappoint. This establishment is highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

It is an oversight on our end that while it was mentioned with room with a private bathroom that it would not include a private toilet. The toilet is shared with another room and while this is not really an issue for someone looking for ultimate privacy this might be an issue. No outlets to plug anything in, the only ones were hidden under the bed which was a bit of an ordeal to get devices juiced up.

While this is our first B&B and we do not have a lot of room for comparison what I would say is that it truly lived to the hype of having a home-like experience. With a rather eclectic decor it might not be for everyone but it has a very unique and zen atmosphere. The location is great, just minutes to downtown, very quite and peaceful neighbourhood, has private parking beside the building which is a bonus considering the fully booked street spots. What stands out was the owner who showed great hospitality. We were about to try to breakfast but could not get to it due to time constraints but from what we saw it was exceptional.

Personally I would have preferred a toilet in the room.

A beautiful room, nice and quiet. Location is very good, it’s walking distance from the train station and from a bus stop to go to the beach. There are also many restaurants close by. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Microwave and refrigerator are a big plus.

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The highlight of my experience was the warm hospitality of the owner, who made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. The house has a bit of a funky smell. It is close to Amsterdam only with a car.

The hotel is actually a huge house, where the owner lives; downstairs are rooms and upstairs it is the owners' flat. The house has its own style - it is a beautiful piece of art! Among others Fornasetti can be found. The owner is very hostable, you will feel like you truly entered a Dutch home.

The location is perfect between the main city, Amsterdam and the beach, if you have a car. The bedding is great. The bedroom and bathroom items offer to guests are really good idea!

The private toilet was right outside of my room, which I did not mind unless it was at night since the front door was also right outside my room and made of glass. Felt a little uncomfortable going out at night in my sleeping attire since there was no curtain/blinds on the door.

I felt extremely welcome and comfortable staying here. I had a delay with the trains coming from Denmark, and it was a relief that the owner, Frederiek, communicated well and responded in a timely manner to my messages. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and was also given advice for places to go and what to see during my stay. The room was very clean and I had my own private toilet right outside the room.

My friend and I received a warm welcome from the owners, who were very kind and friendly. The room and bathroom were clean and with everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the station. Also a special mention goes to the breakfast, with really high quality products. We recommend it to everyone!

Very cosy place, good location in about 10 minutes walk to the train station. Frederiek was so kind and nice host. It was pleasure to meet her. The breakfast was tasty and she even gave us a ride.

It was a great pleasure to be there, truly. I found this place so good and heavy of great ideas (-: Very comfy bed. Nice and clean bathroom. Water boiler and coffee express were in the room - plenty of choice for tea too. The breakfast was insanely great - Frederieke made it herself and really liked it! The place is close to train station, cinema, plenty of good restaurants and shops.
