Stairs are so difficult to use, no facilities at all in the room like small fridge or kettle.

Unfortunately, the street is very noisy, it is impossible to sleep with the windows open and there is no air conditioning in the room. We also found out that the shower and toilet were not in the room upon arrival. Perhaps it was our mistake that we did not read this in the description, but unfortunately, it was not written in the basic facts about our room.

The only suggestion I would have is to have hooks in the rooms to hang your bags and jackets as now there was no storage besides the closet. And the shower room could have some shelves to put your things as it all gets wet.

We loved everything, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Location is great as well. They offer free coffee which is great as well.

We stayed here for one night during a short trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is really charming with lots of cool little details, and the staff was super friendly. Everything looked clean and well-kept. However, a few hours after we checked out, my husband developed bite marks on his back that looked like bedbug bites. We contacted the hotel, and they were very responsive — they checked the room and said they found no signs of bugs. We can’t say for sure the bites came from the hotel, but we didn’t sleep anywhere else on the trip. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the stay.

Steep staircase as mentioned earlier. Soap bottle for washing hands was empty and not topped up when checked in.

Lady at the reception was nice and polite, she even offered to carry our luggage up the steep staircase. Also take note that you have to upgrade to get a private bathroom and there is no A/C so if you’re travelling during the summer do take note of that.

Stairs are super narrow and difficult to maneuver especially with luggage but can manage with railing and only flight into basement.!

Super cool themed hotel with attentive staff that gave great recommendations for group of friends traveling to Amsterdam. Cute and fun lobby bar area with pool table and free welcome drinks. Basement room with shared bathroom was clean with sink in the room as a perfect touch. Small windows and fan helped with hot summer temperatures and beds were very comfortable and clean.

We had shared bathroom facilities which was a toilet room and a separate shower room with doors from the hallway. That was fine but it wasn’t clear whether we were using the “right” ones ( the shower was through another door in the hallway) and there’s no way to know if someone is waiting outside the door for you to hurry up or not. All in all, it didn’t really matter, though. There was overturned garbage at the entry both days. Not sure who’s garbage it was, but it wasn’t a good vibe.

Cool music themed decor. Windows can be opened. Beds are comfy. Sink in the room for tooth brushing. No smoking inside. Friendly bar space downstairs but we didn’t have time to hang out there. Narrow stairs make it feel like access is exclusive, which is fun. The sounds of party people outside until late, err or maybe early, add to the atmosphere in my opinion. There’s a convenient tram stop a couple of blocks away for the museums or to central train station. Bars in the neighborhood are open late for tourists squeezing out every minute of fun.

The price is relatively high, but that’s a fact in Amsterdam. The room was really really small. Don’t even have space to store the luggage for two. It was clean, but not very clean. And maybe another minus for the stairs, but this is also common everywhere in Amsterdam.

The stuff is incredibly friendly. The location is excellent, you just have to walk 15-20 minutes to be in the heart of the town, or 10 minutes to Jordaan. The Vondelpark is at 5 minutes walk also. The vibe in the hotel is also very nice, with musical instruments and music related things all around you.

Our bathroom was super tiny. My 6 foot husband had a difficult time going to the bathroom because of the layout and size.

The sitting ottoman cushion not clean you could see some stains on it, including the stool in front of the mirror. But the beds were fine and the bathroom was good too. I just didn’t use them.

Location, best location. Everything is nearby, the museums and the meeting points for the various tours. very friendly staff. They helped me keep my luggage before and after my stay while I was going around the city.

Not alot really the stairs are steep in the building most but buildings are the same in Amsterdam…

The location was very good just a short tram ride into the centre & stop only a few minutes walk away .Easily accessible by bus 397 from the airport (€6). The beds were very comfortable & great bed ware too… The Staff were very friendly & helpful with directions etc, Nice view from our room & very close to the Palace & Van Gogh’s museum less than 10 minutes walk away.

The stairs were real steep and inconvenient.

Great location right on a corner near a canal just a block away from Rijksmuseum. The hotel has an outstanding conceptual design and very nice receptionists (one of them seemed a bit too slow and confused though, however another one served us breakfast long past its end time, and yet another one served us magnificent cocoa in the middle of the night). In the night it was relatively quiet outside.

Soundproof of rooms...was the only small.minus point.

The staff was amazing all throughout, breakfast was very yummy and made with love. It was absolut value for money and a cute special place. Rooms were small but tidy n fully ok for a night or two....just for lightsleepers it might be bit tough as it was directly at the road with the Tram...but even for that they were prepped with a big jar of earplugs:-)) The location (except for the Tram - we stayed in the first floor so further up it might have been better) was absolut amazing and there were connection towards every place in Amsterdam you probably would like to go.

The stairs to get up are true Dutch stairs and very steep. The staff will help you with luggage if you need though!

Due to its proximity to the bustling city center and nearby tram tracks, there may be some noise. However, the windows have good soundproofing, and fortunately, it becomes much quieter after 11 PM.

The hotel's theme is very cool, featuring a rock and backstage performance style, giving it a lot of personality. The location is excellent, very close to dining and shopping areas.
