We were met by the owners’ son- such a friendly guy! We had the small room with balcony- small definitely describes it! Super clean- nice small balcony which allowed for extra space. If we visited the area again- we would definitely stay here again- just in a larger room!

The only issue was the shower floor was not levelled properly to funnel water to the drain, and would leak out into the bathroom under the shower doors

We enjoyed the one, ground level, cottage like facility in the side yard of this property. It was a great place to wind down our Europe trip and get to the beach finally, after a month of lousy weather. The room was cozy and light with all the facilities necessary to prepare our own food.

I'm abit of a clean freak and would like there to be a brush and pan for the floor. Apart from that everything is good.x We liked that the bed was so comfortable and all what we needed in the kitchen.

Just one little thing I'd say is that as we were staying 3 days, a fresh towel would have been good but it wasn't a problem.

The stairs are very steep and narrow and difficult to negotiate if you are like me of advanced years. If so suggest you choose a downstairs room.

Great location and real bonus to have off street parking and secure location for the bikes. The room was very nice and we loved having the balcony to sit out on. it is just 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants, 10 mins to the beach and about 20 mins to the circuit.

A great little town near the beach, you can rent a bike and visit the tulip fields. Also frequently buses to Amsterdam. Aquarius pension was great, comfy place, quiet, well equipped and friendly staff.

I like the fact that this is a really small hotel/pension (4 rooms). Everything that I needed was in the room. The host (Marcus) was nice and friendly. It was perfect!

We stayed in a really nice room and enjoyed our visit to the Netherlands. Zandvoort is a bit away from highways. But if you are a person who likes to go to the sea in the morning before doing other things, that may be a great option for you!

The room was quit cold when we arrived, it took several hours to warm it up. We couldn't remove our shoes because of the cold floor, placing carpets in the room and bathroom could solve this issue easily. The bed's mattress needs to be changed.

Nice surrounding, nice house and welcoming host. City center, shops were close. Train station is 5min by walk.

The room was cold, the heating system was managed by the owner who increased it only the first night after being solicited to do so. We had a very tiny little electric heater which was not enough. No heating in the very small shower... probably this cold in April was unexpected, nonetheless tourists need to feel confortable

The position was good, ten minutes walk from the city centre and from the station. From there a nice 30 minutes train trip straight to Amsterdam central railway station. Zandvoort was a nice surprise.

Very basic kitchen, not a lot of supplies. No soap in the bathroom. We paid 5 euros per day for parking, but it wasn't clear that there would be another car parked behind us in such a way that we couldn't use our car for our entire stay basically. We needed our car for a spontaneous day trip and realized we were parked in ... We asked the host if he could contact the other guests but he was hesitant and after one single call he gave up and said there's nothing he could do. Overall not very friendly hosts. If you offer a parking space and then ask money for it you also have to advertise that you basically can't use your car in that time, which is very annoying ...
