One bedroom had a glass panel in the door which apart from being odd, also meant that an emergency exit sign shone straight into the room so it was not dark.

The toilet is way too small! Tall people can't sit down whilst closing the door. There is enough space in the adjacent bunk bend room to enlarge the toilet space. There was quite a bit of noise from neighbours as the insulation isn't great.

The location is great, close to to all the shops, amenities, dunes, beach. Convenient to have free parking in front of the house. I also liked how spacious the apartment was. And it was lovely to have a large balcony with plenty of sun.

The studio itself was amazing, only it was at the top of the house, requiring us to climb 55 very steep stairs. This is mentioned in the description but not in detail, it was a bit of a surprise. If you are not so fit or dislike tight stairs, take one of the apartments on the lower floors!

The property was a studio at the top of an old Haarlem town house only a short walk from the high street of Bloemendaal and the shops. Parking on the street was no problem and it was only a short drive to Haarlem, the beach and local countryside. The studio was high up, with plenty of windows and so was full of light, and there were views over the backs of the houses. Everything was clean and the kitchen well suited for making simple dinners. Comfy sofa too.

Very steep stairs to apartment, we were okay but would have been difficult for guests with young children, older adults or those with mobility issues. We feel the property was overpriced compared with similar properties we have stayed in but this may have been due to the season and high demand for accommodation.

Need more mirror in the apartment, the only mirror is in the bathroom without any electric outlet nearby, so it’s hard to look at a mirror while using the hair-blower.

The location is excellent. It’s near a supermarket, and parking is easy on side street, and an EV charging station just outside of hotel.

The wet room shower needs a bath mat as it is a little slippery, and you do have keep watch on the water spilling over.

Very pretty apartment - nicely appointed. Good for a family - we were two adults on two singles put together and two teens who could use the bunk beds. Very friendly staff, who were happy to help us. Nice part of town with lots of nice places to buy food - there is a supermarket, but also a butcher, fishmonger, baker, green grocer and poulterer. It is about 30 minutes to walk to the centre, but there is a train station about ten minutes walk away and a four minute ride on the train, so convenient enough.

Trying to balance blocking out the sun with the curtains for the kids to sleep, while still getting fresh air in to keep the room cool was difficult. Having said that, the staff were very helpful in providing fans.

Bloemendaal is a beautiful location. Easy to get around on bikes with kids. The accommodation was fantastic and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Six stars for them!

Checkin was really complicated, because we got !3 wrong address and had therefore really troubles in finding the right door until someone in the restaurant below helped us. The double bed was way to soft, the neighbours above really loud. We had to pay almost double as much taxes as booking.com showed us before booking!

The Apartment Park View was really beautiful, nice furniture, wooden floors, wonderful terrace, great shower and a lot of space! Kitchen was well equipped although we couldn't find any water glasses. And thanks for the children bed.

The toilet! You can’t close the door whilst you’re on it. Unless you have very short legs… shame you didn’t put it in the bathroom, there’s so much space. The extractor fan from the hotel kitchen below. The chairs and table in our dining room were trembling, very unpleasant. It stopped way after midnight. The bunkbeds in the closet won’t work for taller people. For these reasons we thought it too expensive.

Great location (close to the beach, walk to the shops and train station). Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. New bathroom. Comfy bed. Free parking. Big terrace/balcony. Nicely furnished.
