- Check in is quite late compared to any other hotel - 15.30 and check out very early - 10.30. There is no reception so even if your room is ready you still can't check in (unless you pay EUR 15 extra) - For us it was not a problem, but everything is fully automated, without any human interaction with owners/staff (unless you have some questions/problems - you can reach out to them) - The only breakfast location is a small local cafe/bakery. It is cute inside it, but the food selection is disappointing: no healthy options, so-so coffee and even bread is just ok - Bed seems comfortable, but the mattress is actually quite soft. If you are a guy, you might have back pain as the mattress bends under you.

Overall, it was a great stay at Aparthotel in Hattem! - Very clean, cozy, well designed room: large windows, well isolated, high quality materials and finishing touches; - Functional high quality bathroom, floor heating and very comforting rain shower with good selection of shampoos and gels; - All required amenities were there: fridge, coffee/tea machine, plates, glasses - Very convenient location to walk around Hattem and to get to other towns (like Zwolle) - Easy to check in and check out - Beautiful facade of the building

The only things we missed were the microwave or oven and a view of the surroundings. The dishwasher was not needed for us.

outside sitting room would make it excellent Breakfast options are limited if you stay for more days: the proposed bakery was very nice, but limited offering if you stay more days. Important notice: no outside breakfast options or bakeries are open on Sunday! Maybe worthwhile highlighting this clearly to travelers :-)

Beautiful room tastefully decorated, extreme comfortable bed ! Coffee & tea facilities . Fabulous shower ..... to a high standard. We loved it !!! The hotel situation was in the center of a village with plenty of pubs and restaurants to chose from.

I marked the staff with the disappointed emoji because there was no staff, really. Did not like the electronic check-in. Even after I had done so I still got emails asking for the details -- time to get the tech guys to fix the software. Then there was the key issue: First I had to create an account with another company, KleverKey. Then I was supposed to download their software. This was already too much, I shouldn't have to do all that when I had already paid for the room. But guess what, it wouldn't let me because the software was "not available in your country" (an Australian phone). So I rang....sorry for the inconvenience....... was asked to ring again when at the door and was let in remotely and there was a key for me in the room. Suggestion, for "foreigners" just ask them to do the latter in the first place. Maybe some older Dutch folk would like it simpler too...... Look, it was a great place but I did not feel I was welcome :-(

The room comes with a small kitchen, which doesn’t play nice with the fire alarm. The kitchen has a dishwasher, but the provided cutlery explicitly is not dishwasher safe.

Great shower, great location, very nice amenities. Would come back here.
