Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsA wonderful house with wonderful hosts. Everything is clean, neat, spacious. The bed is very big and comfortable, I overslept because of it 😅 There is also a balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee. If you are in Arnhem and are lucky enough to spend the night in Antonius - you are a lucky)

DenmarkI write on my husband's account: I was lucky! It was almost impossible to find a place to stay in the area due to the 4Days Marches in Nijmegen. So my husband (Martin) found this B&B by chance, while I was in the car on my way to a meeting. To my luck, the room had been cancelled on the same day as some guests couldn't make it on time. This was my first time staying at a B&B, but not the last! I have only good things to say about this B&B, everything was great, quiet area, the room was nice and clean, there was coffee/tea, cold drinks and snacks. The best service and nicest B&B host, he was very kind. Lovely breakfast with fresh-baked bread and cake, cheese (meat), fresh fruit, eggs, juice, coffee and tea - much more than I could eat. The host knew this, so he had left some bags so I could take some with me on my drive back to Copenhagen. Thanks again! I can highly recommend this place to others because I will definitely come back to this B&B again.

United KingdomWe couldn't have a room on the ground floor as we booked the day of staying so we were forewarned of the difficult interior steps. We did not know however there were also difficult steps to access the property too. That said we were helped enthusiastically to get both us and luggage in to the property. Beware parking in the locality too late ( 5.30pm) as space is taken by other residents on returning from work etc.
A delightful property, astonishing breakfast fit for a king. Clean, beautiful and well appointed - nothing too much trouble, with helpful advice about local facilities and events. Both totally friendly and engaging

United KingdomA little less volume of the wonderful breakfast please. We did take away loads for lunch and dinner, but it felt a bit too much for breakfast.
Beautifully decorated rooms leading to an enclosed garden space. Host very friendly. Bed very comfortable. Amazing breakfast. Fairly easy walk to centre of old town.

NetherlandsAbsolutely nothing! Everything was perfect. Oh, maybe not suitable if you have a problem with stairs. Some outside and inside.
From arrival till departure, my cousin and I were blown away by Jayson's hospitality, the rooms and especially the breakfast. This Bed and Breakfast is in a quiet street and a 5 minute walk from the bus which brings you into the centre of Arnhem in 5 minutes. The facilities and extras in the beautiful rooms far exceded our expectations. We had 2 adjecent rooms, a toilet, and a shower and bathroom spread over the whole second floor all to ourselves. Rain and jet shower and a jacuzzi style bath for your exclusive use. Nobody upstairs and not a sound from downstairs. We both agreed that the big double beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in, even better than our own beds! Both rooms had a table and chairs and there was even a nice veranda attached to one of the rooms. Each room had a TV, small fridge, coffee machine, microwave, electric kettle, sandwich maker, small fan/airco and more. There was a great selection of teas and coffees to choose from and milk, juice, yoghurt and other items in the fridge. The rooms were stocked with small bottles of wine, a variety of biscuits and little cakes, crisps and more. The breakfast was brought upstairs to our room at a time that suited us and it had just about everything you could ask for and more. I've included a picture to give you an idea. We were even given sandwich bags and we were encouraged to bring some of the food for our lunch. After bringing enough not only for lunch but even a snack or two for later in the day, there was still a table full of food left. Jayson is just the best host who has a wealth of information and is super friendly. We hope to be able to go back some day and spend a couple of nights there. It was pure luxury and were made feel really at home. Thanks Jayson!!!

United StatesEverything was wonderful
One of the best places I stayed during my two month trip to Europe. The room is laid out so well, a beautiful extra room where a wonderful breakfast is laid out for you. Free street parking, and definitely well worth the price (a B and B in the states of this quality would easily be over double the price).

United StatesWe wish we could give more stars! Super friendly hosts whose priority obviously is providing excellent hospitality for their guests. They go out of their way to make sure that the room is clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and cozy. Really a "home away from home"! The highlight was an outstanding breakfast brought to our room every morning. Everything on the table was of the highest quality, carefully selected, and beautifully presented. We stayed for 5 days and will be back soon!

United StatesEverything was outstanding. Host was beyond exceptional. He greatly enriched our visit with recommendations for dining out, day time activities, and the most plentiful breakfast you can imagine with various pastries, unique regional cold cuts & cheese , fresh fruit plate, a selection of cereals on and on. It was a feast every day. Bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows so you could get just the right pillow depth. Quiet neighborhood with local coffee shops, bistros and a fantastic tapas restaurant. Our random choice to visit Arnhem ended up being one of our nicest experiences on a month long trip

NetherlandsThe room is on the ground floor with access to the garden, so the room smells noticeably damp. For our taste, the pillows are stiff and too high. The shower is cramped, the door does not fit tightly at the bottom: water splashes on the floor.
Great location, park and city center within walking distance. A chic breakfast for the whole company. Jason is a hospitable host, he will tell you a lot about the city. Going out to the shady garden, it is good to have breakfast there in the heat. Beautifully decorated interior: tapestries, stucco molding on the ceiling. Quiet. Despite the exit to the garden, there were no mosquitoes.
