Getting access was difficult- the instructions were not translated with the email so took us a while to figure out. Then no problem. 2 suitcase racks would make life easier but otherwise nothing.

The location was wonderful-a few steps to the central square. Very easy transport links - train to Amsterdam & bus to airport. Accomodation itself was very well setup & decorated. Calm place in old building.

Instructions on how to get to the room without reception (or a phone nr to call) could be better. It's a quest to find a locker, a key, the text is hidden in the end of the email, it's like finding a hidden treasure really.

For people who have continuous telephone service, this won't be an issue.... I only had service when I was able to connect to wifi. The instructions to get in to the place were sent, after I got out of WiFi, and I didn't realize it was a self service entry. the address is shared with multiple places, and the door is a little obscure. once I sought out some wifi and received the next set of instructions, all became very clear.....and the place was quite worth the awkward arrival.

the room was great with a beautiful sitting area. the place had a shared entry way with a washer and dryer. great location, near the square. staff was very attentive over the internet.

We would have appreciated more light at the washing tub and a towel for drying tea and coffee cups. The tv was too low for watching comfortably from the bed. The mattresses were very good, but there was a gap between the 2 mattresses, which is uncomfortable when you lie in the middle and tore the sheets. (The sheets were already worn out on the sides)

Cosy and all needed facilities, beautiful surroundings, very good mattresses, a lot of space in the shower, easy to have a comfortable temperature in the room, nearby the town centre.

The shared kitchen was part storage space for the owner apparently. Breakfast needed to picked up at a take-away sandwich place two streets over. They were nice enough and squeezed me in so I could sit somewhere and eat my breakfast, but the whole arrangement was less than practical.

Breakfast was in the cafe opposite and a little on the small side. Pluspoint was the coffee to go with the breakfast, which was any from the menu.

I didn’t expect it to be a self service room, as the description stated it was a Boutique Hotel; which is certainly not the case. I was looking forward to a hotel, as we were tired from traveling, but if you’re in the mood to be on your own, it’s very nice.

Beautiful clean and tidy room. Close to lots of coffee shops, bakeries restaurants and bars. The train station is within a short walking distance and the train is only a 10 minute ride to Amsterdam.

We had a fantastic stay in Haarlem! The location was unbeatable, just steps away from the picturesque town square. It was incredibly convenient to explore the charming streets, cafes, and shops of Haarlem right from our doorstep. The location is great! Right in the center of Haarlem and a two minutes walk to the bus. The room is decorated nicely and there’s everything you need (kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer, coffee machine, tea and coffee,..)
