“Peace and quiet in amongst the grape vines and fruit trees, very different from the usual Dutch scrimmage. My cabin was comfortable, the breakfast - served in a leafy arbour - was very good and the resident pigs are well behaved and amusing (but aren't cooperative about being photographed) In two months of cycling this was the oddest place I stayed and is certainly on my list for a return.”

The pigs walking around the houses were more of a joy than a nuisance. The pigs were polite and when asked to leave, they listened.
