The only thing I could say is that the tours and shuttles/transfers needed to be paid in cash, while the hostel and food/breakfast could be paid for by cash or card... but that wasn't a major issue.

This hostel is awesome! Great location, friendly staff and a good wifi connection. The breakfast is affordable and tasty, there's a menu for food on delivery, hammocks in the garden to chill out and clean bathrooms. Great options for tours and shuttles/transfers. There's even a small swimming pool! Privacy curtains on the beds are great, and individual fans too. A wonderful experience!

Breakfast is great, eggs , pancakes, yogurt fruit and granola. You can also order off a menu of a restaurant own by the owner of the hostel and have it delivered. Amazing

Clean rooms and friendly staff. You can book tours there, and there's filtered water and a large kitchen. I loved the curtains and the small private fan. For sleeping they turn on the aircondition. Everything you need....

Great location and wonderful staff! Really enjoyed my stay there. Leon has a dry heat, so whilst it's hot in the day it's really not that bad at night, each bed had its own personal fan which was completely sufficient. Definitely recommend booking the volcano boarding tour through them, they use volcano days which is way better than other companies, plus it's Nicaraguan owned.

Loved the hostel. Well organised and the staff were amazing. Liked that we could use the facilities over the road at Poco a Poco and enjoyed the activities offered. Christmas dinner was great and enjoyed the other activities like trivia night, bbq and the beach day.

Only two bathrooms for all the dorms?!

Dorm was clean, kitchen was clean. Stuff nice and helpful. Location in walking distance to the major attractions of Leon and the hostels and places who offer tours. Daily activities with the other poco a poco hostel opposite of the junior one.

I wish they would turn on the air conditioning a little earlier than 9 pm but I understand why they don't. Those ice cold showers will never be a plus, I don't care how hot it is.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. I loved the curtain, plug in and the light at each bed. It's the only hostel I found in Nicaragua that had all 3 of these things The staff was helpful and the location was an easy walk to downtown. The dorm room was large enough for everyone's suitcases and I appreciated the lockers.

The main issue is that there are only 2 bathrooms for everyone to share with the showers and toilets in the same room. It's not enough for all the people.

I like the fact that they have curtains around the dorm beds for privacy. I also like that each bed has a light, fan and electric outlet. It is great to have free coffee and the pool across the street to use.

A new spot, evething is very clean and new. The staff are really nice with well English and willing to help. You can use the thing that poco poco hostel (the original one across the street) offers as well. Very good location and good good private bed in the dorm. Big communal kitchen.

Staff here are chatty and helpful...manager, night security, housekeeping and receptionists. My dorm was spacious with lockers and bathroom and the kitchen is well-equipped. Morning brewed coffee! Access to pool and activities across the street. Definitely returning.

Very nice hostel. Stayed here for 3 nights and would totally recommend it! The place is very chill, the staff are nice and it has a good location close to the city centre. We had an issue with a nearby laundrette, and the hostel staff stepped in to help us translate and resolve it. Thanks again for that 😊

Needs improvement for this place to be great. No discount if you stay long term. Bathrooms are always flooded, left dirty and despite telling this to receptionists/management no improvement was made. Only 2 bathrooms (toilet and showers together) for 24 people when the hostel is full. At least then needs extra cleaning attention in the evenings, especially when people come back from the volcano boarding. Apart from the dorm with 4 beds, the rooms have some bad smell and mould on the wall, they are also very dark and basic. Coffee mugs, plates, bowls should not be plastic as they are very unhygienic, full of stains due to the use for years. Smoking is allowed everywhere and due to the enclosed nature of the hostel the whole place often smells with cigarette. Listening to phones loud should not be allowed to staff.
