Little touches made the place great for the price - secure entry to property which shows its cares for, some drinks and snacks available to purchase on reception 24hrs. Pool table , room servicing great. Towels for beach if needed, great breakfast, freshly cooked. Just nice all round !

The room was very clean with the most comfortable bed, and nice sheets. AC worked great. Nice breakfast included, in the courtyard. Staff was very friendly, particularly Kenia, at reception who helped me book a hotel in Las Penitas. She arranged for a taxi to take me to the bus. I left my suitcase for two days while I went to the beach, and returned to continue my travels from Leon.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. We watched the staff clean the rooms and common areas with remarkable thoroughness. Breakfast was substantial and delicious, the best we had in Nicaragua. The service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel has very good air-conditioning, a good supply of hot water in the shower, and a lovely central courtyard.

Beautiful hotel with a great location to some of the sites in Leon. The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The courtyard was a pleasure to look at and every morning I could play the game of find where the resident turtle is hiding! They had offsite parking for our two motorbikes which was very secure.

We didn't have hot shower at first but that was quickly resolve by changing rooms.

The staff was always very welcoming, helpful and smiliing. We appreciated the tasty breakfast in the garden. The posada is very charming and located near the city centre. You could easily walk to the Cathedral and the central park day or evening.

Room too small, no sufficient hot water for shower, no place to sit in the room. Leon is really hot so have somewhere to sit in AC room is necessary.

Everything was good. Just to mention something minor. My room was next to the kitchen and although the staff preparing breakfast was quiet , from about 6am unavoidable sounds of their activities were clearly present. The towel was very old. As mentioned breakfast was good but to be served bananachips as a side dish I found somewhat early for that and unhealthy (as a suggestion why not tortilla’s or more fresh fruits.) .

Be prepared for a very small wash basin , ala 1928 and a small shower what was sufficient for us.

Beautiful original hacienda from 1928. Beds are wonderful, room is nice with beautiful paintings. Also airco works great. Beautiful garden, nice breakfast, salsa and ranchero with your eggs when you like. Excellent helpful staff. Turtle walks around and a gray house cat. Their is 24 hours coffee, hot water and cooled water.

What was a bit unfortunate was the size of the room, the bed and the shower. It would also be helpful to have more surfaces to put things on in the room and bathroom. This would especially be helpful for long stays. Also maybe it was my doing, but I had trouble with the internet in the room.

Breakfast and service were great. Nice to have coffee available all day and night. I always felt safe with someone being on the property all the time and the front desk staffed day and night. Also it was very quiet at the posada. The AC worked great, which was a life saver.

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating! They made me feel very welcome, despite my poor spanish. :) My room was very comfortable and the hotel was overall very quiet. It was only a short walk to the main square.
