The location is at the edge of town, still walkable but not a pleasant walk in the dark. Laundry was good but they charged London prices, unfortunately we had no option but to do our laundry there but I’d suggest doing it before or after staying there. Paid triple the amount we usually pay. Room was quite hot, and the windows were only to an interior hall so there was poor ventilation. Showers could’ve been cleaned more often and maintained better, it was one of the worst showers I’ve seen. Overall we found it very pricey for what we got.

It was a quiet place with a lovely pool to use, it helped with cooling down. breakfast in the morning was nice and staff were friendly.

The hostal was located a bit further out of town in quite a residential area. Walking by myself I got quite a few catcalls from locals. There were two fans in my room; it was still insanely hot but better than nothing! There was one incident that happened in the hostal on the last night I was there when there were some very drunk girls talking in the kitchen (just next to my room) past midnight. There are signs everywhere in the hostal that quiet hours are between 10pm and 7am. I decided not to go and confront them because one of the girls sounded upset, but they then began POUNDING their fists on one of the doors down the corridor and shouting for the roommates to open the door. I have never experienced such disrespectful behaviour in a hostal - they were crying but laughing(?) so I have no idea if it was a joke or what. It was very strange. Basically everyone in the hostal came out of their rooms to see what the commotion was. The whole debacle continued for at least 30 mins. I have no idea what actually caused it all and it was an isolated incident but I wanted to mention it as it did affect my stay and in my opinion there should have been night staff to nip it in the bud and stop this behaviour immediately.

When I checked in, they told me there was an issue with the bigger dorm I'd booked so moved me to a room with a bunk bed which I had to myself the entire time. The breakfast was a típico nicaraguense breakfast. Being vegan, I just had the rice, beans and plantain. The staff were really helpful and kind. The hostal was nice and clean and not a party hostal which I really liked.

They're renovating the hostel, which is causing a lot of noise and passage of working people. Also, the garden area with hammocks is not well accessible atm because it's acting as a wharf. Would be fair to warn people about this. The location is also a little bit inconvenient and doesn't feel a 100% safe at night.

I was in a room next to the reception. Noisy in the middle of the night when people move in/out. Also noisy from water pump right next to the room. In the morning, there was no water, and I was told it was because someone else was showering...

- overpriced services like 2 liters water 4$ - bad communication resulted in extra fees at checkout They made me change rooms at 12:45 because they were overbooked. So I got an „upgrade“ but couldn’t sleep in the room because the fan in that room was extremely loud. It had a AC so I asked for the remote after not being able to sleep for 3 hours. They gave it to me without telling it has a 5$ fee. I had the option not to pay it but the receptionist told me if I don’t, he has to pay it by himself, so I paid. It just leaves a bland aftertaste.

There’s a big truck parking in and very early in the morning it made so much noise starting the engine.

Enough space with kitchen. Staff were very kind. Free coffee. Breakfast option for 2$. Great price!!

Right next to a small holding with chickens and turkeys that make a lot of noise. Also a little far out, area is a little sketchy at night but fine during the day.

Great room, with large comfy bed. Good kitchen for making food. WiFi and aircon worked well. Also very efficient laundry service in house. Staff were lovely and spoke good English. Dog and cat were very sweet.

The hammocks in the garden are a little bit dirty. The air in the private room gets very fast bad. The bed was uncomfortable.

A lot of space and possibilities to sit down or chill in a hammock. Staff is very friendly and speaks english. Breakfast is good and cheap. They offer tours.

It was so hot when I was there and the two little fans provided little comfort at night.

The location is a little walk out of the main part of town, but felt safe walking to and from in the morning and evenings. The included breakfast was really nice, and there is free coffee refills. There is a great kitchen and fridge. Filtered water was provided.

It's super hot. there is no temperate location in the whole hostel. during the day you should try to stay out of the hostel. even at night you might have problem sleeping. because the Roof is tin. it absorbs and conducts the heat to the room. the ceiling is low so heat builds up. They should really think about insulating the roof.

Staff are amazing, the kitchen is big and equipped. there are lockers in the room. not so far from the center. there is a backyard. the breakfast is great. value for money.
