The bed wasn’t very comfy & the shower was cold! But, worth the trade off for the rest of the place.

The property was lovely, a few minute walk to central Leon. You really felt like you were in nature. The food was great and staff were friendly and attentive.

Our stay here was so lovely. Includes breakfast in a lovely garden overlooking a large pool and private rooms. It was very quiet and the staff were super friendly. Such a nice, affordable respite after staying in hostel dorms for so long. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of all of the food as well for the price!

There is no airco, which would be a real pro given the temperatures in Leon. No hot water is available for the shower. Even though the weather was sufficiently warm when we stayed there, this would be a real problem in colder times.

The swimming pool is very nice to cool off afterva hot day. Also the breakfast (not included in thevprice) is very good. The setting is exceptional.

Only downside were some very loud people in the middel of the night. We were there during holidays, so normally I guess it will be very quiet.

In the middle of the centre you’ll find this little paradise… Beautiful garden, beautiful terrace and a lovely big swimming pool with all the apartments around it.

I didn't like that you can't order food or drinks after 10pm. Also the breakfast starts at 730. I think they should have the kitchen open until 1130pm and in the morning start at 630am. But I'm not the owner hahaha.

The pool being open to the public , as we had a group of young locals partying right in front of our room . The staff starting playing crappy music aimed at their demographic. Before that it was chill reggae and similar… Luckily they close to the public at 1030.

I wish there was a small table in the room to arrange our luggage. We were only provided one fan for the two beds and it did not work very well. It wouldn’t work at all if we tried to change it’s direction at all. Luckily, my daughter seemed to be all right with just the ceiling fan. To be fair. Had we mentioned it to the staff I’m sure they would have fixed the issue. They really were amazing.

The staff were amazing. Particularly Alexx helped us a ton. William was also amazingly friendly and accommodating. We loved that we could leave our huge door wide open and still felt fairly private. While we looked out at the pool. We thought the size of the bathroom was nice.

The rooms are extremely basic, essentially a concrete box. They are badly designed to not have any airflow and not made of natural materials and therefore very hot (and we were not even there when it was particularly warm). There is nowhere to hang anything up or put up luggage, and sheets and pillows are low quality polyester. The rooms all face the pool so there is no privacy and you have to keep the blinds closed all the time. There is a lack of mid-range accommodation in Leon. A nice pool and outside area for this price is in theory a good deal, but I would rather Pay more for more comfortable rooms than this to be honest.

Beautiful and refreshing pool, great for either laps or lounging. Lots of shady seating around it, with tables or relaxing chairs. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant food was tasty and plentiful, both for dinner and breakfast, with plenty of vegetarian options. The location is convenient, very close to the main square but not in any of the party areas. I was a bit nervous the open pool would make it party central on the weekend, but when we were there it was actually totally fine.

This place is a beautiful oasis in a quiet, close to town location. Staff are super nice, the pool is beautiful and refreshing, the restaurant was great, especially the hot chocolate. The rooms have all the basics and the most convenient floor for having a pool just outside, perfect 👌 I can't recommend highly enough

The attached restaurant seemed a bit expensive to us (although it’s good to have the option of eating in). Something we didn’t like is that there was no filtered water provided, this would be great to be improved in the future, as well as a kettle/cups in the rooms. Other than that there’s really not much to say :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Abierta. The location is perfect (everything is in walking distance) and the place feels like a little oasis. It’s perfect for taking some rest days. The pool is great and really big and we also liked the room - it’s basic, but clean and seems quite new as well. We’d definitely come back!
