The air conditioner took some time to cool the room but it was decent and comfy.

The staff is very friendly and the balcony was just perfect. I'm staying here again for sure next time I visit León.

There is no sign on the front door so it can be hard to find. No hot shower, but that's understandable.

Kind and helpful staff. The inside garden is just beautiful, great for taking your morning coffee. The low price is great for what you get.

It would be nice if there was some kind of sign or indication of the Hostal name at the front door, since some drivers don’t know where it is, and if you were walking you would never find it and the door is always locked and closed. I found this to be a common theme around Nica, but just a small thing like a sign or name painted by the door could be super helpful for guests arriving.

For me the location is perfect because it’s quiet but still within walking distance to everything. The rooms are comfortable and I appreciate that the linens are not heavily perfumed as is the case with many Central American hostels and hotels. The family is friendly, and if you make use of the kitchen, you will most likely have their company. The garden and inner courtyard is a very pleasant and peaceful place to relax and enjoy.

Came here with the family and had a great stay! The place is quiet and fresh! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful too. Breakfast is different daily and is always tasty! The internet is really good for working purposes 😉

The family running the place are so kind and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was good because it had air con, but it was quite basic and I think there were some creatures in the ceiling. Thankfully they didn’t rustle around at night! The breakfast was tasty and overall we would recommend staying here for the price.

Wifi wasnt the bed but was good enough to use and also no filtered water which should be in every accomodation.

Nicest hosts weve come across, so friendly & helpful. Breakfast included which was eggs fruit toast & coffee. Room was decent sized, glad we had aircon as it was very hot! Good shower although sometimes low water pressure but you just flick a switch by the kitchen. Nice garden area & balcony.

There are no doors of bathroom only curtains. And it is a little bit pricey considering overall experience.

Its good to have a room with AC in Nicaragua. The location was fine, close to markets. Staff( the owners) are good and helpful. Breakfast was sufficent.

Rooms got very hot with only a fan to cool down. Shower cold and low pressure but that is like everywhere this price. Walk from the centre isn't the nicest at night. Breakfast ends at 9 which is quite early.

Garden area was so nice to hang out in especially with all the chairs. Good value for a decent room. Breakfast is nice and always vegetarian (vegans can get lots of rice and beans if ask to not have eggs). Kitchen is big and, contrary to other reviews, we were enthusiastically encouraged to use it. Location is a bit out of the centre but only 10 minutes walk away. Friendly hosts and a super tame cat! Keys to the external door are easy to use.
