Overall we had a wonderful stay, but we only stayed two nights since it is a bit more on the expensive side of things (although still very reasonable compared to anything similar in North America). The only other thing we struggled with a little bit was the language barrier. We were able to get by with translation apps and my limited Spanish, but I could see how this could be a bigger issue for some people. The manager speaks excellent English, but it was sometimes a bit harder to chat with the rest of the staff. Very nice people though :)

Such a beautiful spot right on the ocean! The room was gorgeous, the staff were very friendly, the food was outstanding, and the views were incredible. We were very grateful that the staff arranged activities (a boat tour, surf lessons, horseback riding and massages) and transportation to our next location for us. They also surprised us with a complimentary piece of cake for my husband and I's anniversary! We had a lovely stay here and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a bit more of an upscale place :)

Great place! The pool was nice and the kids loved the huge waves at the beach. The staff was super helpful, even preparing coffee and fruit for us for our departure at 4 am. We had good service at the restaurant, and the breakfast was really good. There isn't much around the hotel but you can catch the bus right outside the hotel. Would definitely return.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Nicaragua. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a private and intimate atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The staff was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The food was a solid 10/10, and the combination of the pool and the beach being just steps apart made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back.

There’s nothing not to like about this place. I would have expected the room at least swept and the rubbish bin emptied on a daily basis when paying these prices, but that is a small gripe that may have been just bad luck

The only minor negative was that food can take an extraordinary amount of time to arrive -- but it was always freshly made and good quality. Best to sip a drink, relax, and listen to the waves.

This was my third stay at Aaki, so I was pleased that nothing had changed. Stylish in a modren-rustic way, very clean, right on the beach, good food.

The pool was not that clean. During the weekend, some guests brought their own speakers and played loud music, showing little regard for the comfort of others. While the hotel staff refrained from intervening, likely out of courtesy, it’s clear that such behavior is inconsiderate to fellow guests seeking a peaceful experience. A reminder or policy from the hotel to ensure a more respectful atmosphere would greatly enhance the stay for everyone.

The staff was very friendly, nice and always ready to help. The food was very good: the pancakes were very tasty and fluffy. The fish tacos were also very good, so were the Shrimps with garlic sauce. The room was very clean, you could hear the waves during the night, perfect to sleep.

Very accommodating, great attention, the staff was courteous and made sure we had everything we needed, beach was right in front of us and nice pool on the premises. The hotel also had a kitchen with a great menu, and there was no need for us to leave the property. Our whole family loved it and was a great family time!

There were two things: 1) The top floor rooms flooded during the heavy rain storm. Not a big deal, just do not keep anything on the floor. 2) The shower water pressure was low. Would be better if they had a water pressure pump for the rooms. About $300 at Sinsa.

We loved the property. Rooms were extremely comfortable and the hotel is right on the beach. Great location. The food from the restaurant was super delicious. You never even have to leave the property. Breakfast was good and dinner was good. The staff are friendly and accommodating to anything you need. Great having purified water available to drink. Pool was nice. Really enjoyed everything about Hotel Aaki.

Water pressure in room was ridiculous weak, we barely got water to shower, there was also a issue with the bathroom sink, the water clogged every time. We never got to use the tv because there was no signal at all. Bed for couples should be a king size instead of a queen, I stayed in room 8.

You will love it,, peace and calmness with the ocean sound all the tine, Pool was clean, pool staff got the outdoor experience neat from cleaning to serving drinks, everything was clean, staff was polite and attentive all the time, the place itself look modern, updated and secure at all time, room ac was great. Tony from the tiki bar was exceptional. The ocean view is incredible!
