Expensive restaurant

This place found the definition of ‘boutique’ and matched it perfectly! There are only 6 rooms which are well decorated and pristinely clean. The room sparkled! The reception staff are friendly and helpful and provide a warm welcome. They were in regular contact with us via WhatsApp which worked well. The hotel is situated just across from the Jabi Lake park so you are able to wander around the neighbourhood during the day. The restaurant downstairs serves Western food which although highly priced seems very popular. The breakfast was exceptional. I wish we could have stayed longer!

It would have been nice to have a breakfast buffet. But, breakfast was good. Little Nigerian cuisine. It would have been nice to have some local soups and other cuisine as meal options for lunch or dinner.

The food was good. The staff were courteous and helpful. The bathroom was clean. Staff were planant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was extended. That was quite thoughtful

Beautiful boutique hotel with superb vibes and decor. Very clean and comfortable. Great food choices as well as there is a restaurant just below the hotel.

I dont know what was going on with the electricity as they took the light a million times. The establishment needs to invest in an inverter system so that the light is uninterrupted

While the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally spotty—likely due to the area’s weak mobile network—having a more reliable service would enhance the stay. Taller guests might find the bed length a bit short, though it was perfectly fine for my average height. Including a dental kit as part of the standard toiletries would also be a welcome addition

Perfectly located in a serene setting, this hotel offers exceptional service from courteous, professional staff who communicate clearly and respond promptly. The spotless, fresh-smelling environment, beautifully simple room décor, and thoughtful provision of basic toiletries made my stay truly enjoyable.

If you provide shade and shelter from the rain on your terrace, you will immediately raise the standard of your hotel and guest satisfaction will be higher.

The hotel is located near a park and Jabi Lake, so you can easily take a walk. The restaurant has a wide menu, so you can eat whatever you want. The reception desk is almost right outside the room door, which does not provide enough of a sense of intimacy. There's no communal area where you can sit—for example, with a laptop outside your room. There are a few tables outside, but there's no shade, which is a major drawback.

Note that there’s a difference between the forex exchange rate used at the property vs what the bank charges to covert the $ room charge to local currency. Plus a 3% transaction fee for using a foreign card. Whilst the amount wasn’t substantial, it’s just good to know in advance. Also, the breakfast options were limited.

The location is great, the presidential suite is well furnished and great value for money.

The room was meant for 2 people but there was only one towel and one tea bag. It makes sense to have double items to accommodate 2 guests

Had a very comfortable stay. Loved the serenity of the room. The room service was excellent. The food was very good and the waitresses were very polite and professional. The front desk receptionists are very welcoming and helpful.

The POS system did not always work. For guests staying for more than one day, consider consolidating bills to avoid the 5% POS fee with every bill for international cards

It’s a cosy little haven away from the bustle of the city but still vibrant in a subtle way e.g. Jabi park right across the road that becomes alive on Saturday mornings, and the patio and/or the restaurant downstairs where you can have a drink and relax, people watch etc.

The WiFi was slow and the voucher codes for logging into WiFi wasn’t ideal. Needed to keep getting a different voucher. Earliest you can get breakfast is 8:40am- which may be quite late depending on your day.

Really lovely facility, finished to a high standard and very clean. Room was beautiful and modern, tastefully designed and had all the essentials for my stay. The water pressure was amazing. The staff were courteous and breakfast was great.

Did have an issue with the AC but managed to sort out very quickly.

Prices were a bit on the expensive side. There were frequent power outages but power was restored immediately. On some occasions the WiFi connection was not strong enough to allow calls.

Staying here felt like discovering a hidden paradise. I loved the environment, the surroundings created the perfect escape for me and the hotel and restaurant staff were very polite, making you feel very welcomed. Everything was spotless and felt incredibly safe, allowing me to fully relax and enjoy the food and drinks. Highly recommended!

We weren’t allowed to pay with our international card contrary to what was advertised on booking.com…we had to ask a friend to transfer naira to the hotel. What if we didn’t know anyone who could help?
