The property looks tired and the room I stayed it had a musty smell to it. The nightclub next door - Opal - Played extremely loud music until almost 4am in the morning which made sleep all but impossible. NOTE: Always confirm whether a hotel has a night club as a n immediate neighbour. Also, the bathrooms left much to desire. The room allotted was dark and generally dingy feel to it. Overall, the hotel needs to be freshened up so it doesn’t have that tire look that Hotels not maintained at a top level begin to take on as they get on in years. You can clearly see from the Hotel’s decor that in its halcyon days, it would get been a marvellous property.

The location was about the only real good thing about the property.

Smell of smoke (cigarette, shisha) was everywhere. It was really bad. They had stated on the booking that smoking was not allowed but it was. They called me when I landed at the airport that my room had been cancelled. Really? I became devastated at first but upon second thought i realized they were just taking advantage of me. So I insisted they get me a room. So I had to wait outside for about an hour before I was attended to. Internet service was not the best. I only had internet at just a corner of my bedroom. Bathroom drainage was poor. I stepped in water while I bathed.

My room looked nice. Bed was comfortable. The photos of the environment I saw online was the same as I met it.

Noise from the Club nightly was uncomfortable, had to turn the TV volume up so as to drown the music noise coming into my room. The food took too long to be prepared each time. The bath rooms needs some improvements . There's a price difference from the quote on Booking.com and the actual price at the hotel. (price, needs to be updated) No Microwave or coffee maker !!!!

The Location is excellent. The Coziness is superb, Food was good prepared freshly each time you ordered , the local soups were excellent. Staff members were good , Laundry service was good and efficient. The staffs were very efficient with their services. Good security. Very affordable. Very Peaceful during the day slept a lot during the day.

The deluxe bedrooms share a wall with the night club next door. 3 nights out of the 4 we stayed at Angel hotel we could not sleep until 5am because the music was so loud, even though se bought some earplugs the second day. The hotel was fully booked so they could not relocate us, as there are few rooms of this standing in it. Also one of the bedroom windows is broken (doesn’t close) which prevents it from shielding us from traffic noise from the street. Finally, there is a very unpleasant smell in the hotel generally and in the deluxe bedroom more specifically. Not sure if it is due to poor ventilation or to the kind of cleaning products used, or both. It is very persistant.

Angel hotel staff were very kind and available. We really enjoyed the quality of the service. Also the swimming pool available 24h is definitely a plus. The water was always cool and no mosquitoes. Ideally situated. Laundry service is also available for a reasonable price.

Some of the rooms have dampness, so o had to change room. No good charging point in their rooms as the sockets are broken. The price isn’t worth it.
