AustriaVilla Magherita is a beautiful gem in Swakopmund. We loved staying there and felt very welcome. Breakfast was really good and besides the big Etagere with jam, cookies, cheese, ham and fruits you‘ll also get croissants and bread AND can choose a warm dish (try the French Toast its amazing) The chimney area is beautiful to relax and also the garden. Walking distance to the beach is just 10min. Also we booked a boat tour in Walvis Bay via Villa Margherita. They book it with MolaMola Safaris and they are just amazing. Its a smaller boat and not one of the big catamarans which means max of 10 people, very nice staff thats clearly loving nature, animals and what they are doing + everything in a conscious way.

Amazing breakfast, starting with breakfast platter and moving to a la carte choices. Service was impeccable. Staff really made us feel welcome and were helping all the time. Absolutely recommend!

United KingdomBreakfast on my first morning was hopeless. I order two poached eggs with toast and 30 minutes later was still waiting. I had to leave for a meeting so didn't actually get breakfast. Second morning was much better. WiFi was too slow to actually be useable, would not allow a basic browser page to load up.
I like the old building as its a pleasant change from chain hotels. Staff very friendly
