SwitzerlandWhile the location and design of the room is good, it was in quite urgent need of an update. In the bathroom, the "box" around the geyser was not fitted straight, the tiles were broken in places and there was a hole in the sink (next to the tap). And at breakfast, there were ants on the table, and disappointingly, the fruit salad was (mostly) out of a can ..... Overall the lodge seemed to be in need of better managerial oversight.
We love the Rossmund Golf Estate and were excited to stay at the lodge. Location is good - outside of Swakopmund, but an easy drive away. And it's good to have access to the golf club facilities. Our room was overlooking the driving range, so the view was good, and we saw the springbok wandering around whenever we looked outside. Parking outside the room was convenient. Breakfasts were good, but quite basic. Staff were friendly and helpful, but there didn't seem to be many of them .....

South AfricaThey place is comfortable, with an old charm - not very modern. There is an ant problem. I had ants crawling over my bed and had to switch beds on my second night as they were coming up the curtains. There was also ants in the bathroom. My friends complained about a few spiders in their room.
The staff were friendly and kind. They place is comfortable. The breakfast was simple and had some good options for starting the day. The location is quiet and serene. Even though it was a bit further out of town, the drive was not long.

NamibiaWe needed air-conditioning room, because it was quite humid. The shower temperature was a bit confusing on changing to get the right temperature. You have to turn it subtle at a time otherwise it's too hot or too cold. The curtains need to be updated, it is stuck so it's difficult to manage opening and closing curtains.
The rooms were very nice and spacious to sleep in and relax. We liked the springbok walking around. The staff was very friendly and warm welcoming. The location is nice to be out of town. You get a feeling of being on holiday.

South AfricaStayed in Unit 4. Room TV is from the 90’s. 3 channels on TV, 1 football, 1 frozen screen and 1 which is to be news but did not work. Shower pressure made taking a shower very long, more of a mister. Pool level was low. Did not utilise the breakfast as I had early meetings. Dinner can be at the Golf club house till 20:00 if there is reason to be open. Else drive to Swakopmund. I stayed here so I could play golf early, and based on pictures online.
Location is great, on the golf course with the only greenery in the desert. Check in staff were helpful.

South AfricaThe Booking.com room description was inaccurate so there was no washing machine and tumble dryer as expected and advertised. Also the rooms are not self catering and have no kitchenette.
The room was really comfortable and extremely quiet with a great view of the golf course. The breakfast was really good and bread freshly baked by Agnes was the cherry on the top. The staff were very helpful and ready to go the extra mile. Agnes was exceptional.

I had an amazing stay at Rossmund - the room was spacious and clean. Given the colder weather at night, the room was arm enough and beddings sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the water in the bathroom was nicely hot. It's also nicely quiet at Rossmund. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay.
