Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NamibiaRoom was Right next to laundry, depot. 7am, A lot of Noise. 117A. Also, No Blankets . No Bedspread. winter. Cold in Room. Bath plug, would not seal water in Bath. Biggest Issue, Yet, No light Switch to switch light off next Bed. Had to get out, and pull plug,out of wall plug. Switching plug off,Wont help. It also switches cell phone charging off. Disaster!!! stay away from 117A.

I loved the location of the Hotel, you have access to almost everywhere, the Bed was comfortable. we visited during the summer, the heater in the room was very helpful. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. also, quick to solve any issue I had.

United KingdomThe dining options (ie., the menu) is pretty limited by almost any other comparable standard, and the options for vegetarians are, I have to say, poor. I'm veg, I stuck it out for 12 days, but really, how many times should I have to eat vegetarian pizza for dinner? Clearly, they have their formula, and so no feedback from one user will change that, but if you are food oriented, I'd look elsewhere.
I travel a lot. Here, I found large clean rooms in a very friendly, indeed super friendly, hotel. There's lots of space and at weekends it comes alive as locals come in to lunch and dine and the pool is filled with kids. I stayed for 12 days on a work trip and was very happy there. I can definitely recommend it.

ZambiaMy room was on the side near the Airport and there was a constant sewer like smell which filled the room. The smell would get so bad that you had to open the door to get the smell out. There is a ditch between the Hotel and the airport with dirty stagnant water were the smell comes from. This needs to be delt with asap. Also when I arrived there was no one the help me with my bags. When going to the room, the man at the counter had to leave the counter to help us to the rooms.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is very delicious and tasty. The room was very clean. The beddings too.

South AfricaThe staff take extra long to bring you an iron or ice which in turn ends up delaying your plans. you have to keep requesting the same things every couple of hours. I was charged a different rate when I was making payment as compared to booking.com which I queried and resolved The water pressure in the shower was terribly slow and not satisfying at all.
The room size was spacious and easy to move around in. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good.

PortugalI reserved in Mercure hotel but when I arrived they put me in another hotel just in front, called Mowenpick… although breakfast was in the Mercure building. Only the reception area has been modernised, but the rooms are very old and definitely need renovation. The hotel is quite far from city centre.
Breakfast was good, room was big and wifi worked well, also in room.
