It was a pity that a few keys things weren't available at my 1x night of visit: room wifi and hot water. I am sure this was just temporary issues though. I also thought the dinner would be of a bit higher taste standard. Food presentation was great.

Beautiful hotel and views, stunning history. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful old lift felt like I was in the Titanic movie. Overall a great stay.

The parking or lack thereof

The hotel still has old world charm and is very comfortable with an excellent breakfast buffet and beautiful surrounds

We did not get a sea facing room which was a pity. The spa is rather dimly lit - no bubbles working in the Jacuzzi. could do with an upgrade. The reception staff are not overly welcoming or as helpful as one would expect for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is majestic and in very good condition for its age. The beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is excellent - an amazing buffet.

Room AC very noisy, mini fridge wasn’t cold, WiFi patchy at times . Water very slow in the main bathroom sink. Rooms can do with an upgrade.

This hotel needs a bit of attention and it has so much potential to be a world great. It’s huge but I don’t think it’s busy enough to enable some of the things that need fixing to be done. It’s not stuff you see on the surface - they do an incredible job of keeping it pristine, but I can’t help but wish it could be so much more.

It’s a beautiful Grand Dame with so much glamour and a lot to offer. It just makes you feel happy from the moment you walk in. The staff are wonderful, the views are stunning, the rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and amazing. The pool area is great and it definitely is a hotel worth staying at. Could definitely spend 3 days there relaxing. The grounds are also kept so beautifully.

Check in took a very long time.

Beautiful hotel with loads of history. Big rooms with everything one needs. The breakfast is outstanding - so many options. There was a slight mix up with our collection at the airport, so they upgraded us to a suite, which was very kind.

The hotel location is perfect with stunning views; my partner and I were moved to the ocean facing room and it was breathtaking. We received such great service from Buque, from the concierge department. He was so helpful and friendly and showed exceptional customer service

Corridors and room maintenance should be better. One mirror missing in the wc per instance. Room was far from entrance of hotel.

Rooms somewhat dated. Smoke detector in room was disassembled … (thus was not attended to by staff during the stay

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was great. We were just there for a night before heading to an Island, and was perfect for what we needed. We will consider returning for a longer stay.
