How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The water heater on level 2 was not working well hence we made do with the room temperature water
The dust free and clean space made it better for my family to sleep . The mattresses and sheets were all so clean and neat. Toilet was very clean and pleasant smell. The speed of the WiFi was top notch. However we couldn't connect to Netflix however we managed to keep ourselves occupied with the shopping and food around the area. Good space and we enjoyed the stay.

The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Checkin is easy with clear instructions. The house looks modern and furniture are pretty new. The beds are comfy to sleep. Will recommend this place.

Not much except there are no rooms on the top floor just loft beds. Must consider if u have different families coming together
The Netflix and KTV is a plus point for late night activity with family. The place is neat and clean. Overall is good and will reconmend

Self-check in key collection can be a little tricky. TV remote is not very friendly.
Full suite of facilities and all worked well. Plenty of choices around for all kinds of restaurants.

There were slight issues with the karaoke system which it wasn't downloading songs for us to sing
Place is clean, beautifully designed, location is convenient and owner is friendly. Owner is quick to respond to my messages and super helpful. Lots of convenience stores and eateries around the area.

KTV with limited choice of songs. The water need to control the volume of water to maintain the heat.
Good location, nearby got a lot of restaurants. Chill and nice open spaces if you go there with a group of friends/family.

Nice apartment for big family. Host is attentive to little details like providing board games for family and having the Karaoke set to spend the evenings. Location is also near supermarket, eateries and other amenities.

Did not receive the check-in instruction until we contacted the owner personally. The environment was unclean and the bed was dirty; we experienced a few bed bug bites after the one night stay. The house furniture appeared dusty and poorly maintained, with a moldy and unclean toilet. Additionally, the house is located at 2nd floor which is beside the condo car park, making us difficult to sleep due to the noise from the surroundings.
The location is convenient for food and shopping. Spacious parking in this condo.

My stay at EcoBotanic was was truly wonderful! The warm family setting provided a perfect retreat, and the proximity to various diners and eateries was a fantastic bonus. It made exploring the local flavors and enjoying delicious meals so convenient.

Not much. Mostly good.
Eco botanic township is generally a good place to stay. Plenty of food options around you, so you never have to worry about being hungry.

Check In process was a bit complicated and late to communicate, no enough wardrobes also no cooking stove in kitchen, no clothes drying tray

Internet was down throughout our stay. Not able to watch Netflix.
Location was convenient with eateries and shops for groceries. Owner was responsive and allowed to extend our checkout time.

Nothing but if really have to comment, will be the TV in the living room not having antenna channels.
It can accommodate my whole family and my kids are so happy. Food and groceries shopping is so convenient. Near to shopping area.

Jake was a great host! He contacted us instantly after our booking and shared with us the details of checking in. He even shared with us the nearby eateries and some food event held nearby for us to visit during our stay. He was responsive and easily contacted at a breeze. Checking in was so easy, and there was no issue with parking our car at the basement. The place is so clean and bright. Very comfortable to stay in! My kids and us had a great time. They even provided baby chair too. Location is convenient. There are a lot of food and supermarkets nearby. Facilities includes swimming pool, little playground for the kids, etc. Hope our stay can be longer! We will visit again definitely. Thank you Jake for the kind hospitality. :)

-chekout time at 10am. seems too quick.. but can nego to extend subject to next tenant unavailability -lack of malay/english song selection in ktv -lack of malay food within the area
-lots of bed. can fit in almost 10pax with plenty of extra beds and 9 towels -2 TV upstairs and downstairs with netflix. dont need to argue with kids anymore -got KTV kareoke but song selection can be improve (lack of malay/english songs) -have washing machine+dryer. so dont need to go dobi -duplex n spacious. infront of the house got extra space too with nice scenary -easy parking bcos not many people so easy to maneuver & access card is so comfort. dont need to open window automatic gate open -car park near lift. easy access up and down -area got lots of shopping place/cafe -the area is peace or mind cos no guard to check to enter in and out. just used own card provided -nice interior deco and the house os so clean and well maintain. smells good too.. owner provide lots of shower bath/shampoo/tooth brush etc.. -easy check in and check out
