Not that soundproof. I stayed at the ground floor, i could hear 1st floor's muffled conversation. During sleeping time, it is all quiet.

Great location in PJ, but no public train nearby. Best place if you have a car, as you can park inside the compound, the staff will open the gate for us to park in. Felt safe with the location. Room and bathroom is clean and comfortable. Staff is in the compound at all times, where they are friendly and easy to reach out for assistance. Great stay.

Not much within walking distance in terms of cafes, restaurants, etc. Need to use a grab to get around to places to eat - though there are plenty of places within a 5 min drive and a grab is easy to arrange.

Very clean and quiet. Decent Wi-Fi. Very helpful and friendly staff. Small place with only a few rooms, so there's no crowds around. Comfortable and nicely appointed. Well priced.

Chrisenbel Hideaway, is a calm and beautiful accommodation, with super helpful staff. Complementary tea and coffee with homemade bread, was a nice addition. Rooms are clean, well serviced and close by to the lovely pool and garden.

Crisenbel Hideaway Retreat truly lives up to its name. Tucked away in the midst of the city, it offers an unbelievably peaceful and private escape surrounded by nature. The quiet atmosphere, lush garden views, and beautiful landscaping make you feel like you’ve stepped out of Malaysia entirely. We stayed in the 2-bedroom garden view villa, and it was absolutely superb. The villa was spotless, with a clean and cozy pantry that had a warm, homely vibe. The pool was just perfect—crystal clear and so inviting. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, featuring delicious homemade bread, tea, and coffee. It felt so thoughtful and personal. Upstairs, the open-space garden area on the second level was stunning. The furniture, décor, and paintings were elegant, luxurious, and tastefully arranged. Every detail felt curated and high-class. What made the stay even more special was the service. The staff were incredibly humble, friendly, and attentive. They made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. I’d highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a serene, private getaway without leaving the city. My only 2 cents is the smell of the detergent for the bed sheet can be improved, using none fragrance type of detergent.

Great place for a short stay, in the heart of a busy place but quiet and comfortable. The homemade bread is a plus. Overall this is my choice of stay in PJ for short working trip or even for leisure.

Wet bathroom. The bathrooms are tiny. The door squeaked and we used a spoon to keep it open. As a boutique resort, better quality toilet paper would be a nice touch. A place to hang our towels in the rooms, and one room didn't have a mirror.

A wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. The pool was smaller than it looks in the photos but so welcoming. We had three rooms and all were great and tastefully furnished. Loved the rooms that opened up onto the pool. Anwar is amazing and makes beautiful bread each morning. He is always there to help with anything. A lovely quiet space. There is a kettle in your room and they have cups, mugs, plates, etc at the bar kitchen. Plus a microwave.

Loved my stay here! The bungalow was modern, clean, and super relaxing with a beautiful pool right in the middle. Even though it’s in the city, it felt really peaceful—like a little escape from the noise. Great hospitality, a helpful caretaker always around, and plenty of parking.

My wife and I booked the double room with pool view at Chrisenbel Hideaway Retreat for a short getaway, and it was just what we needed. The room was very comfortable and cosy, well-equipped with Netflix, a mini fridge, and good shower facilities. We especially loved the easy access to the swimming pool just outside our room. The location is also great, with a very convenient and easy drive to nearby shops and restaurants. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at great value and would definitely consider coming back!

The hotel is fairly new, spick and span. The facilities are all in working order. The border of the compound is built in such are a way you dont see your neighbors and I guess there cant see you either, providing privacy. Its located off the main road in I think a residential area. So its pretty quiet, real quiet. Its a nice place to relax. Affordable food is about 10/15 mins away by car.
