Would have like more communication about what to see and do in Ipoh.

Quiet location, boutique hotel, old world charm very like the photos. Although no breakfast, there was use of the lounge and kitchen area that provided cups, cutlery etc. there was also some items to buy using and honesty box approach. Very close to the mall.

Cozy home away from home. We had a small room, so it can be a little claustrophobic. Other than that, it is superb with a lounge and living area in the common areas of the house.

Sound proofing in the room could be better.

Comfortable and cozy. The "honesty box" shows the trust the establishment have with their guest. Ample parking with security.

Would be even more perfect with maybe a little map explaining how to get to the green town streets for food in case future guests get a bit lost in the residential streets to the south where most cafes etc were shut a long time.

From the second we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. It's all decorated in a cottage core style which is adorable but still comfortable. The rooms are on the cozy side but super clean, easy to keep cool with a comfy bed. It was big enough to have both our large bags up off the floor and out of the way though. The en suite in contrast was big with a large shower and felt modern with lots of toiletries. The communal areas are huge. The lounge had an enormous TV, large dining table with plenty of chairs and sofa. There were lots of snacks priced very fairly which felt more for guest convenience than pushing for profits (some items were actually a bit cheaper than the local small store). Although there was room for all the guest rooms there were only 2 other rooms booked when we were there so pretty much had the place to ourselves as one couple were quietly working on their laptop most of the time in the other lounge. There's a large supermarket about 20 min walk away or cheap grab away. We'd been travelling a while so took advantage of access to healthy food and the space in the communal fridge to eat healthier and relax in the lounge for a few days. 10 minutes walk away on one of the main streets was a big choice of restaurants and cafes. Lots of choice and still open regular hours despite Ramadan and a very close breakfast and coffee place just round the corner (7 warna on Google). Be careful following Google in the opposite direction to other restaurants as many are closed and it will be a wasted walk. Better to head North. The roads are quiet except the one big main road bit still easy to cross to get to the better street.

Sound proofing is bad. Normal conversations in room can be heard outside. Good to have a full size iron board at least in a common area for sharing. The small iron board in room is difficult to use.

Nothing. The house doesn't have it's own restaurant but we didn't mind it. The location is quite in a quiet neighborhood which we also didn't mind, so we're good.

1. Everything was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and in place. 2. It was quiet when we stayed there, much to our pleasure. 3. And that distinct scent as you entered the house, that was delightful! 4. Upon checking in, I overlooked the RM100 cash deposit that we needed to pay but May - the receptionist was kind enough to accept RM60 we had on us. It was one of a kind accommodation!

Loved the homely feel and friendly staff. It was also incredibly well kept. Clean and all the necessary supplies provided for a comfortable stay. Great location. Quiet even during new year celebrations.
