would like to specially thank 4 Renaissance staff for their remarkable service. They are: 1) Lorina (Front office) - she check-us into the hotel. She is great. So patient with her explanation, clear and detailed. Not only that, she carried a smile throughout the entire time we were hogging at the counter trying to find the most suitable option. Her service was a great start to our stay. Even my friend of whom I booked the hotel to celebrate her birthday was really happy with Lorina’s service. Lorina also shared with us great dining and massage recommendations. 2) Azizi (valet management) - on seeing my injured leg (with brace and clutch), he offered us a complimentary car park at the VIP parking corner (in front of hotel) to save me the much walking time and effort from parking at the usual hotel guest parking lot. Thank you so much for recognising my mobility challenge. 3) Main entrance security guard (didn’t manage to ask for his name) - he was there yesterday afternoon during my check-in between 3pm and 4pm. He is so helpful, guiding me to park my car properly and showing concern of my injured leg. 4) Azizi’s colleague (didn’t manage to ask for his name) - his shift started around 4pm and he was always quick to open the door for me whenever he sees me coming, making sure I have the necessary support. Overall, the staff are superb and went the extra mile. Well done Renaissance - you have a great team. This feedback is definitely going into the booking.com review section. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The hotel room is superb - quiet and comfortable - so much so that my sister and her family who visited me and meant to only have dinner with me decided to also book a room and stayed over (room number 0916) instead of driving back to Singapore after dinner. Great spread of breakfast too. Great vicinity with great food and massage within short walking distance of the hotel - convenient.

Away from busy city life. Peaceful location and only 20 minutes drive from Johor Bahru Sentral. Buffet Dinner at cafe was excellent spreads and quality food. Satays and Peanut sauce were tasting good too. Staff were very friendly and nice.

A very service oriented hotel which I have not encountered in any jb. I was not well and this was noticed by hotel counter staff soleha in her comforting words was something new and delightful. A bad day became a good day for me. She was always willing to help. Another staff name Nithya was also very extremely helpful in showing the nearest temple and Indian food locations after considering our vegetarian needs. The food was definitely better than amari and double tree which I often stay whenever I pop by jb , I received resounding approval from my daughter has she had liked the food too. I would highly recommend to reward both Soleha and Nithya for their customer services offered to us.

Gave us complimentary breakfast and the breakfast spread was delicious and exceptional. Handwritten note from the team to wish my husband birthday was a very thoughtful gesture. We Love to stay in Renaissance JB and it’s our #1 choice for staycation in JB! The hotel is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, salons and even car wash. You can even walk to the nearest supermarket. Breakfast is sumptuous with a wide selection of choices. Rooms are super beautiful and I think we got a free upgrade.

SingaporeI had their Seafood buffet dinner as well, there are some stalls at outdoor for grilled food, I found those seafood seems not too fresh enough and this might also attracted some flies from outside flew into the indoor dining place. There was one flying around my table and waitress provided candles to be placed on my dining table, the other time is I saw the flies around the food counter and landing on the pot, I have informed this to the working staffs on the spot. I hope this can be improved for the sake of hygiene.
I booked this for short stay at JB meanwhile celebrating my wedding anniversary. The bed was nicely decorated and there is a slice of cake ready when we checked in. Thank you so much! The room itself is spacious and clean. I love the water pressure in the bathroom. Their breakfast are sumptuous with different variety . All the staffs are polite and friendly, feel warm to stay at this hotel and will come again.
