Wonderful location in/close to nature. Nice and quiet at night. The 'dormitory' room was more like a private room with shared bathroom. Very comfortable and clean. Everything worked. Would certainly stay here again.

The food options in the restaurant weren’t as good as at previous Sutera Sanctuary lodges (Manakan) so a bit disappointing, however there are lots of smaller local cafes just outside the door of the park where you can get delicious love food for a fraction of the price

Lovely spacious villa inside the park. Huge bathroom, very comfortable bed and helpful friendly staff Direct access into the park for walks up to the waterfalls and the butterfly farm. Very quiet. Didnt go to the spring pools (these are more like man made baths than natural hot springs)

The whole environment is inviting and welcoming. Well maintained and and accommodation was super comfy and clean. The staff were so attentive to our needs and special mention to Manager Ridwuan and his super team of Sue, Fedro, Clive, Angie and Shiela. Arriving late, they even took the trouble to ensure that we were able to enjoy the hot spring tub! The breakfast was yummy and a wide spread of food available for our enjoyment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and certainly look forward to going back again. Good job Sutera Sanctuary lodges @ Poring!

The public hot water baths are too busy

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The Jungle Lodge is excellent with the courtyard hot water bath as an extra bonus to our stay. The food in the restaurant is very nice too. It gets very busy with visitors who walk straight past your accomodation but they leave fairly early making the evenings very quiet.

There is not much option for food around the resort, but to us what offer in the restaurant is sufficient for our 2 nites stay.

Room is well maintained. & i really love the sound of the river. There so much to do within the resort area too. Serene view and peaceful.

If you're going for the hot springs, don't go; they're totally disappointing. The rest is worth it, but the hot springs are a rip-off.

My stay at this hotel was excellent, despite booking this branch by mistake instead of the other one I intended. I’m glad I made this error because the experience turned out to be wonderful. The room, called the ‘River Lodge,’ was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and cooperative. One of the standout features was the on-site restaurant within the park, which offered delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families planning to visit the park

It is not that i don't like. I have been there on the last september, the restaurant is ok, but the menu is really limited. So this time i had no surprise... Then, I wanted a bottle of wine... but no more... i bought 3 glasses of wine and no more... All is good in the restaurant, and my remarks have to be understood as an easy way of improvement...

It’s a little bit weird system that you have to pay for the entrance of the park if you want to have breakfast (coz the restaurant is inside the park). It’s better to include the ticket into the hotel price. And then it’s a bit strange to pay for hot springs and for the cold pool separately again. But it’s actually not about the hotel. The hotel is still wonderful.

We stayed in a villa and it was amazing. The house is light clean and beautiful. 2 bedrooms, one living room and two bathrooms. Enough space for everyone in our group. Parking is right in front of the house. Very close to the park entrance. I definitely recommend the place for staying in Kinabalu park. I think it’s the best choice there

What an amazing place start to finish. Ignore the bad reviews. We stayed for one night and two days and would have happily stayed more! The staff everyone of them were outstanding happy and very friendly! They made our stay. There is so much to do here, it's not just about the springs. We loved the orchid garden butterfly farm waterfalls garden and the pool too!! Canopy was scary but good. Room was perfect to! Such a great relaxing stay. Restaurant great and for the location reasonably priced, if your tight on budget there are street food style restaurants to eat outside. But definitely book a night or two on your travels. Your Staff are a credit to you!! Rafflesia flowers are available to view locally to at the moment. Thanks!
