Attention to detail fab, turn down service and gifts every night were a hit, good range of breakfast to fill you up for the day, great staff who gave lots of good advice and were helpful. My husband liked the loan umbrella service!

This is the nicest hotel I have ever been to. The staff is very helpful and attentive, all of the numerous breakfast options are delicious, the rooms are extraordinarily beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. With its pool and its relaxed atmosphere, it is a true oasis of peace and tranquility in a sometimes noisy and bustling city. Our whole family has thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks a lot again for the help with the train tickets, the good advice concerning restaurants and everything else.

This was the third time we have stayed here - although we last came 11 years ago with a toddler. This time we returned with two boys - who loved the pool, breakfast and afternoon tea each afternoon. Service is attentive and thoughtful - for example, we are vegetarian and we were provided with a list of veggie friendly restaurants.

The historical features were lovely, the rooms were modern and well appointed, lots of little extras like nice shampoo and conditioner, daily traditional biscuits and little notes. Breakfast was lovely and the complimentary afternoon tea and cakes! Very helpful and friendly staff!

Bad air from kitchen was all over the swimming pool. The eating area for pet owners was rather hot and stuffy. So we ended up ate in our room.

The room was very nicely done like 5-star hotel. Very new, clean and comfortable.

It’s a dog friendly hotel so you might hear a few barks and yaps here and there. It wasn’t too bothersome during our stay though.

An absolute gem! We have tried the popular resorts in Penang but this gorgeous boutique hotel is a far superior experience. Wonderful staff that always greeted us with genuine warmth and care. An immaculate and well cared for property with a beautiful courtyard. Just an all around superb experience. We will be back!

It has the most courteous and welcoming staff, 10/10 for cleanliness, nicely preserved with a touch of modern interior in the new rooms, 3 mins walk to the mall, very close to Armenian street, would love to stay again.

If I could I would have rated this place more than 10! Staff is super friendly and helpful and the attention paid to the details is worth staying. We had delicious breakfast and every night they gave us goodnight cookies in a small jar. The room was clean as well as the pool. I would definitely recommend it!

It’s quite 10-15min walk from the main “attractions” of Georgetown, but a good quiet area nonethless.

Breakfast a bit limited. Main bedroom really big but small bathroom. Only a minor point but worth noting for other travellers who may wish bigger.

Old world type feel, good location, excellent staff, always clean and tidy, quiet. Used the nice pool twice.

Only thing is that 88 Armenian does not have a bidet so if you are not ok with this it can be a bit of inconvenience. I would strongly suggest for the hotel to add a bidet!

We were upgraded to the sister hotel, 88 Armenian, at Armenian Street (superrr strategic location) with a lot of cafes, nasi kandar within walking distance and small business shopping heaven! Oh my goodness the hotel is extremely beautiful, it feels like staying at a spa— daily complimentary bath butler service, free Aesop small bottles toiletries and luxurious bath salts, free mini bar, snacks and iced tea on daily basis. Superb nyonya-style breakfast and may I say the customer service is TOP NOTCH like a 5-star hotel but very personalised due to only 6 rooms for guests. For me, 88 Armenian is one of the best stays I had in the world! Didn’t actually stay at Noordin Mews but I am sure the quality is the same ☺️
