Check-in was slow—although it was supposed to be at 3 PM, I only received my room key at 5 PM. Despite being an old resort, it has potential and could be quite nice with better maintenance of its facilities.

It was a nostalgic stay, reminding me of when my parents used to bring us here as kids. A peaceful and uncrowded hotel with a bit of privacy—decent for a short stay.

The room was old, specially the bathroom, overall this resort was old and lack of good maintenance. There were a lot of tourist groups, and a lot of guest with children.

The property needs further renovation. More food and restaurant choices. Lacked on basic offer of local fruit products, like mango's, bananas etc

Breakfast crowded, Not much choices and food run out fast. No Tea Tarik only coffee. Not enough time for karaoke. Prefer private karaoke with family friendly. Renovation ongoing and call shuttle takes so long to arrived. I think during Holiday, Nexus need to add more staffs. Need to add lighting to lite the junction at the main junction from the main road. Don't like additional matters must buy breakfast.

Nexus is improving compare to my previous stay. Love the promotional price. Clean Beach with good waves. Love the pools. Love the quite environment.

There was a lack of information. We arrived later in the evening, but only got told where to eat breakfast. There wasn’t an information pack in the room. We had to ask what building was open as the sunset bar was closed. We did discover Darlin darlin , but they offered limited snacks.

We loved the location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though renovations are in full swing it didn’t detract too much from the gentle ambiance of the place. We enjoyed a short walk to the golf course and had a very nice lunch 🥗 Club sandwich 🥪 and a cold beer . The pool was lovely apart from what looked like an old jacuzzi which was full of mud and probably a host to mosquitoes…this was a shame

Will be great if able to adjust the air cond to swing - as it is blowing directly to my face when sleep and make me feel very uncomfortable. I have to use a chair to manually adjust the vent and it's hard to do that. Our room is far from the lobby and my mum who is a bit old find it difficult to walk a few times a day from room to lobby / restaurant / beach and vice versa. Didn't know it's cheaper to book direct.

The room I had was pretty smoky smelling and the breakfast was pretty rubbish but for the price it was absolutely fine

The area was spectacular and I had one of the best massages of my life. All the staff were very accommodating and friendly and the pools and beach were stunning. Also the gift shop was very good value!

Throughout the stay, numerous dishes and beverages were frequently unavailable across restaurants, sometime even half of the items on the menu were unavailable. Also only under half of the restaurants at the resort were open.

Downside was the resort is under significant renovation which I was not aware of at time of booking and only realised upon arrival. We had to request room change as we were initially placed in the wing of the hotel that was under construction with work being undertaken between 8am and 6pm daily. The noise was too loud to remain in our room. The renovations also meant half of the restaurant’s and hotel services were closed. The resort, especially the pool have seen better days but the cost and the stunning views of the South China Sea and luxurious grounds full of monkeys and monitor lizards made up for this.

The grounds of the resort were stunning and among the best locations of any resort I have stayed in the world.

The room is suoerb. The problem is the breafast. The food was suck. Have to wait a long queue. Suppose international hotel like u offered a lot of food like asian, malaysia. Chinese and international food. Like Pullman or Le Meridien. But u just offered menu like 3 star hotel. The coffee machine was broken. The pastry and desert are sucks. Please upgrade ur breakfast menu. Tq

Facilities a bit old ,slippery bathroom ,not suitable to bring olders if taking higher room's (panoramic sea view)since need to walk along way before reach the rooms .N then there's a sight of dusty from outside our room ,in the carpet and at the balcony.We stayed at 8439 .Breakfast also taste not so good for a 4-5 star resorts.

There is no staff to greet guests upon arrival at the main lobby. Maybe because this resort has been around for a long time, there are some equipment that is not working properly, such as the bathtub and lights. However, after notifying the reception, they sent maintenance staff to restore it.

An interesting place for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful private beach, swimming pool for children. Various activities are available for a certain fee. There is a stunning seaside golf course.

It’s very worn down and many things seem nice and pretty but if you look closer it doesn’t look that nice anymore. Many tiles at the pool are missing (sharp edges), the slide might hurt the kids, everywhere where metal is involved it is rusted. The rooms look nice but don’t look too closely on details… my guess is that there was no maintenance since the many years. That’s how it looks like. The noise in the room from the ac and fridge are very loud. The showerhead does not look very clean and hygienic and the ventilation in our bathroom didnt work. The pictures are probably taken many years ago.

The personal were always friendly and eager to help. The pool is big and the beach is for guests only. Since it’s far from the city or next hotel there are no other people on the beach except the guests.
