The ample of space. The layout. Kids love the upper room style. Hawker food stalls just few steps downstairs..clean and comfy environment. The char kueh tiaw was awesome. western food price was reasonable. Next trip will try from other stalls too.

Water pressure is low. Parking not so convenient. Bit noisy because of the stalls downstairs and traffic on the main road.

Bed very comfortable. Good location, easy to find food. Provided water dispenser very important.

Fan given upstairs very loud & fast. I cant use it so its very hot to sleep there. There were no electric in whole room for 2 hours when we first checkin.

suitable for budget family holiday. love the classic vibe of this hotel, its remind me of my kampung house esp the tangga kayu. you pay what you get. with rm90 per night, i think this hotel is worth & nice! if you are looking for halal food, there is roti bakar bangkok lane, 7E, US Pizza & nasi kandar raffee located near this hotel.

Booked this last min 1 night stay at a budget - the host was quick to engage online through WhatsApp because we were not able to locate the entrance. Just around the area, there is food available early morning and late night, almost seem as if it is 24 hrs But for future goers, I have to be honest - any longer than a night, and I definitely wouldn't pick this haha The fridge is unstable, but I did not need to use it Aircon takes a while to cool room, use the fan provided - helps a bunch, there was a mosquito living with us for that night but once it had it's meal from me, it didn't bother me anymore Water pressure is good but its not a lot of water... very conservative with water haha - takes longer to shower Hair dryer and iron board available Good place for 4 to 5 max

The soap and shampoo were old ish. Water pressure abit low but as expected from older building in Penang. The main entrance was abit difficult to locate, as there was no photo in the property profile.

It's on the first floor. The room was super pretty! Cozy. It was pretty complete. Towels and bed and blanket were clean. Rooms were cool even without aircond on a hot day, comfortable and airy on a humid night (turn on AC)

The location is convenient—just a 5-minute walk to the market, eateries, and Pulau Titus activity area, and about a 15-minute walk to Gurney Drive. It’s also close to the city center, with Penang Road and Macalister Road just a 5-10 minute drive away. The hotel offers good value for money if you're not expecting 4-5 star facilities. The overall stay is decent, but the operator is rarely seen, even during the day. Communication via WhatsApp is hit-or-miss, though check-in is assured. Some downsides include air conditioning that isn't cold enough, a lack of windows for natural lighting, and unresponsive hosting during operational hours when no staff is at the counter. Parking can be challenging during the day, but spaces are still available. Despite these drawbacks, the charm of the place itself makes up for the shortcomings in service.

The down there renovation still not done few month ! ! ....Need pass through at night horrible scary...some of the rooms lights not working... must fix it and some rooms water pressure for the shower was very slow ! !
