Place had a little bit of a weird odour to it, in the shared areas. The outdoor area around the pool needed a bit of a cleanup. Mini fridge in the room made so much noise and vibration I had to switch it off. Still enjoyed my stay despite these minor negative points, and it was okay value for money.

Easy self check-in and in a quiet location set slightly off the main road. Everything was within walking distance, about 5min to the beach and 10min to the night markets. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Also has a washing machine for your laundry.

Unfortunately, the place (but thankfully not the room) smells like the windows/doors have never ever been opened. It smells like a severely wet cat. My allergies' nightmare. I literally had to hold my breath and run up the stairs to the room, and still had to take an allergy pill every day. There's a common room downstairs, but I can't imagine anyone enjoying a coffee there with that strong smell :( there's a kitchen, but it's full of cat food. Never understood if it was for guests to use, but I wouldn't have used it anyway. If they fully opened the doors & windows and let sunlight and fresh air run freely, the rating would've been an 8-9 for me.

Loved the location and the vibe of the place. It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants supermarkets, etc... The pool was also very nice and lovely. We had to change our dates, arriving a day earlier, and they received us without a hassle. That was such a blessing. The room and bathroom were nice and comfortable.

Pillows and bed not so comfortable. Cat was around at common area, not recommended for people who scare of cats. But all areas was clean :-)

The private pool downstairs looks marvelous but after swimming for twice, the pool water was found to be unclean and turbid which may be due to the failure of filtering system. Hope the owners could pay attention to improve the quality of pool water for the sake of swimmers' health. There is an open kitchen downstairs but it is a pity as the kitchen is not intended for use by the guests.

The bedroom on the 2nd floor was clean and spacious with a small refrigerator, private bathroom and a balcony. The room air conditioning, a fan on the ceiling and USB outlets is perfect. The housekeeper in this guest house is helpful as he can provide assistance whenever there is a need to get anything from him.

The cleanliness could be improved. We found some ants in the toilet and room, and toilet bowl can be cleaner. The water is abit yellowish. The fan in the room is malfunction. Smart tv has limited channel to watch. The house helper can be friendlier by put on some smile.

The guest house located at a quiet housing area, not far from beach. The family room is quite spacious and beds.are comfy. My kids enjoy the pool with privacy as not many tenant staying when we were there. Coway drinking water dispenser is available.

Our bed was next to the window of the hallway so when there was movement in the hallway the light would turn on which was oftentimes quite annoying. It was a shame that there was also no staff around to help or recommend anything to us.

It was a cosy guesthouse and it’s location was near to the public beach and shangri la hotel.

-The shared area was not fit for purpose. The seating was occupied by a cat and in poor condition. The kitchen area was unusable as the worktops were used as cat food storage. A combination of the cat and cat food gave the area a terrible odour. - The garden area around the pool felt abandoned. It does no longer look like the photos. There are no sunlongers, boxes and broken furniture dumped, the plants are not maintained and generally look unkempt. - The air conditioning in the room we booked was useless and not sufficient for the room. However, Mr Abidin did arrange to move us to another room. - The beds were very hard. -The room was not cleaned during our whole stay of 5 nights. The room literature stated that if you wanted the room cleaned, there was an additional charge. -The balcony and balcony furniture were not cleaned, rusty and unusable. -The pictures of the outside areas of the accommodation are very misleading and very outdated.

-Our room was well cleaned. -The TV had an android box allowing access to online services. -There was a washing machine, detergent and clothes airer available for use which was really helpful and appreciated. -The pool was a good size, nice temperature and cleaned. -The best thing about the accommodation is the housekeeper Mr Abidin. He was very welcoming, friendly, responsive and helpful during our stay. -Toiletries available in the room including shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste and shampoo. -The room doors use a keypad lock so no need to carry a key or card.

The location is great, 10 min away from the beach. The room is clean, spacious, beautiful and same goes for the pool. Also, the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was an incredible place and I would give more than 10 stars if I could.

Amazing stay at this villa that provided me with what I needed. Calm, privacy and a great swimming pool outside. If you have a motorbike, it is the best possible case, easy to drive towards the Batu beach/markets. Exceptional help from the accommodation staff.

The environment and atmosphere of the house really creepy. Not same at all like in picture, all the flowers, trees are dead. The house like has been abandoned. Got dust everywhere. Got a cat, but not smelly.. the room is big with that price I think I will rate 5 star but the air cond not really cool. But i think its fine since on night weather quite cool.

Very comfortable room with big balcony, big bed on private villa with pool in a very calm place. As this villa has only 4 or 5 rooms, it means that it very calm and pool is almost always free. Also in common use there is a washing machine.
